edit: just found out that the second update doesn't exist.

edit again: After finally getting te update finished I can now go to the Wii Shop Channel. The only thing is, I forgot to buy a Wii points card and when I called the store, they were out.

I was wondering, does your system make a weird noise when turning it on and off? My does, but it never did before I got the update.

I heard that Excitetruck is lacking a track editor (that knocks off major points for me, since I figured a track editor would be a no-brainer considering what the game is based off of), and that two-player is somewhat dumbed down from one-player as many multiplayer games were years ago.

I have no idea, I havent played exite truck.

I camped out for the release of the Wii. I wasn't getting one, but I was saving a place in line for a friend. Well, a few hours went by and another friend came up. We talked a bit and I told him I'd call him if the line got any bigger (it really wasn't that big at all). Anyway, friend 1 came back and I then took up a place in line for yet another friend. Eventually I called Friend 2 because the line was picking up pace. Friend 3 made it there and then I was free to go. So what did I do? I stayed for the rest of the launch. To hang out... nothing more.

Anyway, 16 hours later everyone got their Wii's. Well, I work with Friend 2's dad. I ran into him and casually said, "hey, I spent some time with your son the other day." Which sparked a very depresing story.

When Friend 2 got home, he was too tired to play his new Wii, so he went to bed. Next day he got up... hooked up said Wii.... and IT DIDN'T WORK!
He had to go back, talk to the manager who contacted the closest store who had any which was two hours away. Friend 2 made that drive, exchanged his Wii, drove back... and hooked it up. This time it worked.

I think it was BS. They should have hand delivered him another one... specially after camping out for so long.
