I'm replaying Super Smash Bros Melee to pass time. I just unlocked all characters (I cheated to get Mewtwo... I did it the easy way with 3 controllers =/ )

I've been thinking in kep p laying FFXII, but I lend it to my sister thinking she'll give it back quickly because it was too confusing for her. She is still playing it ;_;

Started playing Warhawk. Seeing as there's not storyline (or even a 1 player mode) I'll probably mess around with it from time to time while finishing up Disgaea 2. I'd go into more detail about Warhawk if I didn't already have a thread for it, but I doubt it'll go anywhere. ^_^ I might kill some time with Crimsonland as well. I've been wanting to try and tackle the Hard Core difficulty for some time now... and for a third person shooter, it's pretty good. Short, but good.

I'm probably gonna jynx myself by saying this, but it seems that I'm gonna be beating Breath of Fire for the first time not too far from now. Pretty far in the game so far. Just made the town of Spring look like it. I've explored most of the world map, save for a chunk of the southwest corner and a couple islands I assume I'll have to fly to when I'm able.

I've opened every dragon crest on the world map so far. I've got four of Karn's transformations.

Still only have the first three dragon transformations, though. I would've expected I'd be able to find more by now. But apparently I need the Dragon Sword to obtain it. Whereever that is.

So sometime last week I found out I have to cure somebody of some ailment, by going out and finding three ingredients, one likely has to be fished for, I don't know where these items are, and I lost my ability to warp.

And that's where I quit.

Well, I've long since have beaten Disgaea 2. The game was just great... just like all of Nippon Ichi's games. That said... the ending blew a load of suck.
"GARRR, you are all my enemies! I can't trust you!"
"Hey babe, trust this!"
*Make out scene*
*Credits*
Oh well, the destination might not have been all that great, but the trip there was fun. That's what's important, right? I'll really be looking forward to the third in the series which may come out in 08.

I'm still messing around with Warhawk. I loves me some CTF. And Feros, get in there soon... I need to whoop some ass.

And finally, I've started playing Odin Sphere. And I must say, it's a very beautiful game... as in, it's easy to look at. But it almost feels more like a Megaman game than an RPG (minus the ability to shoot). Also, I'm really having an issue getting my HP up. You see, instead of having a level you are at... your weapon has a level range, and you as a character have a separate level. By beating enemies, you level up your weapon which, in turn, raises your attack and such. When you level up your person, your HP goes up. The problem is that you don't get exp for your person from beating enemies.... you get it from like, eating sh*t. And it's not easy. By the end of the first book I had 30 plus level on my weapon... and like 20 something on Gwendolin (sp). And I spend a sh*t load of time looking for times to make some high EXP items in the Pooka Village (which lets you cook the items you found).

And now, I don't have access to the Pooka Village in the second story yet so I have to rely on eating what I find in the levels or buying cheese and hope I level up off of that. The bosses are not easy like this... like really. But the game is good. I haven't gotten to the point where this story starts interacting with the happenings of the first... I think that will become more interesting as I play with the other characters.

Chapter 4-3 in Resident Evil 4 for the PS2.

Wrapping up the last of the sidequests in FFXII so I can finish up the story.

I would say maybe the middle of Bioshock for XBOX360.

Spellchecking text for project so far in RPGM3.

Started Gears of War on "insane mode".

Finishing up the rest of "Heavy level" songs on DDRE2 for the PS2.

Finishing up Viva Pinata and getting all the breeder's Achievements.

Oh yeah, and to tide me over until GTA4.......Saint's Row, although it's not the same!

I finally finished Odin Sphere... and instead of going on about the game like I usually do, I'll just quote what I said about it in the Video Game Bull thread:

Lantis wrote:
Odin Sphere...

I've tried my best to keep an open mind about it... but that mother clucking game is hard. WAY too hard. I mean, I managed... but it's just not worth the bull you put up with. I spend HOURS looking for ingrediants to raise my HP and still the bosses in Armageddon would rape you real quick.

The worst part? I had the difficulty of the game on EASY. I like the story, the characters, the graphics... all of it's really well done. But I will not be playing this game again.

So yeah, while the game was good in most aspects, Atlus really rapes you on the difficulty. I mean, even devil may cry isn't THAT hard on the EASY difficulty. Sheesh...

Well, I've been skipping around a few games lately. Two of them being Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition and Warhawk. It's amazing... I haven't touched it for a while and I pick it up and can get 1st and 2nd on my team of 12-14 people. Also, people need to understand that the lounder you scream into you mic DOES NOT make it easier to hear what you are saying. In fact, it makes it even harder to comprehend what the hell you are trying to say. Stop yelling...

Anyway, my next title in the que though is .Hack// G.U. 3... The final game in the GU series finally hit here in the states like... a week ago. So I'm a bit excited to see how the series ends. Again, the battle system in the GU series was actually quite a bit better than the first. Though the focus alot less on magic spells than they use to. I remember equiping Kite's weapons based on what spells you get from said weapon... not so much in GU. Oh well, it's still quite awesome.

I was thinking... this thread does real well. Maybe it should be stickied?

Well, after pittle-farting (leave me alone, it's a word for all I care) with some radom games, I'm finally getting started on the third and final installment for the second .hack series.

Just like the first series, it just picks up right were the last one left off. Battle's the same minus a few minor tweaks. And the storyline picks up really quickly... which I like.

Actually, I've been waiting a few months to finally get to play .hack//GU 3... so yeah, woot.

Buying and not playing lots of games, as usual.

Been playing Gitaroo-Man a lot. I haven't put the game down for motnhs. It's insanely hard on Master difficulty. I'm still stuck on stage 3 in Master. The game throws these insane combos at you and expects you to hit them all. Argh....I'm getting closer, but still, it's nuts.

Picked up BulletWitch, Viva Pinata, and Orange Box yesterday. I stayed up playing OB: Portal all night. That game is a blast. I just about finished it.

I need to make some kind of practical list to start playing some of these games I own. Playing Everblue 2 as of late, and it scares the shiz out of me. Maybe because I have a fear of aquatic life. But the gane sometimes feels like a survival horror. You go into these sunken ships with a dimly lit flashlight and swim through them looking for something. You have no idea what you'll run into, and it's creepy. And you can't defend yourself in any way. Sure, you can heal HP or cure poison, but that's it.

Say, I bet Lantis might like it, since it's creepy, in a not so creepy package.

You'd think an underwater game would be harmless. Oh, how wrong you are...

I just beat Castlevania: Circle of the Moon on Shooter Mode. In that mode, every one of your stats is extremely low, but sub-weapons do an increased amount of damage. I got killed in two hits by most enemies.

Now, I'm playing in Thief Mode, which gives you lowered stats, but high luck. I thought it would be like the other modes where one of your stats is either doubled or they added 100 to it... no, in Thief Mode, instead of starting with about 150 luck, you start with 1600!!!! Yeah, this mode might be a little easy.

Heh, you never could afford everything for your entire party. Either that or you just bought cheaper and crappier equipment. Ah well...

I finished the GU series in .hack. It was good.... not as good as the original series though. And believe it or not, they never really said what G.U. stood for. Quite strange...

Anyway, I'm finally playing Twilight Princess. I've actually been playing it for a while now... just picked up the Master Sword. It definately feels alot more like OoT than any other zelda title.

Also, it seems that Umbrella Chronicles has dropped a good deal on my list of must have games... though, that list is rather large. woot?
