Beating the final boss of Shadow Hearts 2 in 5 minutes without healing once. To be fair, he was pretty easy for a final boss. Opposed to the last game's final boss, which always takes me near an hour to defeat.

Finally, getting all the demons and endings of SMT Nocturne. That clucking took forever! :shakefist

... Text adventure? Never heard of that type of game before. Is that an older kind of home video gaming, like second-generation type stuff?

Managed to get a copy of Oregon Trail 1 and 2 on the CD. Playing them now.

And I beat Donkey Kong 64. My god, that nintendo coin is damn near impossible.

Dude, you remember Radical Dreamers, right? That's what a TBA (Text Based Adventure) is. So you have, in fact, heard of that type of game before. ^_^

I beat Ultima Weapon, and obtained the GF Eden, in the floating research facility in FF8. That took more than a few tries. And most of those tries lasted less than a minute.

HOLY POOPY!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers ... olan.shtml

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers ... olan.shtml

I found a FREE Online Version of The Game!!

It's the game I have always listed as my all time favorite computer game!!

They updated the interface for the 20th anniversary, but the game is identical!!!

IT'S A FREE DOUGLAS ADAMS GAME!!

You all can finally see what I've been raving about all these years!!

MOOOOO!

EDIT:

Does something this big deserve it's own thread?

Edit AGAIN!:

I just got reminded by Doan The Nado that it was he who originally pointed me to this long ago!

I had so many disasters, and lost my data from that era, that I forgot where I originally discovered it existed! When I stumbled across it again, I just posted!

Credit where Credit is Due!

Thanks Doan!

... Thought of another gaming accomplishment, one I mentioned the other day to Lantis and Kajak, though it is the kind that occurs in just a matter of seconds.

For those who've played through Resident Evil 4, perhaps you remember the highly-resistant-to-an-amount-of-conservative-ammo-that-would-easily-have-blown-up-a-tank Regenerator enemies in the military base towards the end of the game, right? Well, one day I decided to try taking out one of them without using the infrared scope to see where the parasites were taking up residence within the monster. I used a magnum whose attack power I had tinkered with to try to target the parasites in the Regenerator's body blind, and apparently, unlike any of the other weapons, a magnum will go straight through the monster and kill the parasite in one shot, because four well-placed shots from me took out all four parasites, and their host was destroyed (I am assuming this one had four parasites, because the other Regenerators I encountered before him each had four).

Basically, this means you are now talking to Sarah's Knight - professional slayer of close-range-shotgun-blast-resistant monsters straight from Hell. ^_^

Well guess what, I got something to top that.

Remember how I've been working on DMC3 special edition with Vergil in Vergil Must Die mode?

I freakin finally beat it. I honestly thougth I'd need alot more orbs to be able take out the final form of Vergil, but I guess I was mistaken.

Don't get me wrong, it was hard has hell. But he went down... I think slightly easier than when I did it with Dante, to be perfectly honest.

Reguardless... I now hold my "I've beat every Devil May Cry title with every character on hardest difficulty"

Is there a reason your cursor looks like the plastic clip thing that is used to tie off a loaf of bread?

Heh, how long in real time did it take to spend all that?

Also, I know I mentioned this in another thread, but I'll also here "because I can! :D" I finally beat Devil May Cry 4's Dante Must Die mode... which unlocked a new difficulty to the franchise: Hell or Hell mode. There's a Heaven and Hell mode where you and the enemy both die in on hit. It's usually overly easy as you can kill anything with a single round from your gun... but Hell or Hell mode is where you die in on hit, but the enemies do not. And I was able to beat that too. I was planning on screwing it... but after being able to complete the first few levels, I gave it an honest shot. So I managed to complete it. It took me a long time, many tries, and lots of items, but I managed.

'Cause that's how the developers thought it should look? :P Well, in the normal mode, you use it to pick up and toss them to their doom. I guess it made more sense to snag them with a clip than to drag them with a pointing hand.

It took me just a little over 20 minutes to spend.

Has anyone ever beat Dino Crisis 3 for the XBOX? I have and the reason that I consider it an accomplishment is not that it was so difficult to carryout, but that few would ever have the motivation and patience to work through the crappy story, horrid controls and lame gameplay just to say that they have beaten EVERY Dino Crisis game ever created.

They should have made one called something like "Straight Up Hell" where if you get hit its game over and it forces you to start from the beginning. IE: Beat the entire game without being hit a single time, no retries, no second chances.

:D

.... I don't think even the Japanese could do that one.
