I just recently finished Twilight Princess for the first time. I've got to say... it sure was a pretty game. Everything looked wonderful. It kind of bummed me that the final link item
was just another freaking hookshot, though the added ability was interesting
and while the mutltiple fights with ganon at the tail end were nice
the last fight was really... bland. I mean, look at the final fights in OoT and Majora's Mask. They really could have done better.
But it was still good.

I've sence moved onto Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles... and gives Umrella by that Reana chick a whole new meaning, lol.

For a railshooter, it's good. I've only played chronologically midway through Resident Evil 1. So I've gone through 0. But what's neat is that you get backstory missions to unlock. Like the backstory mission from the 0 section was to play as Wesker and introduced a new character that's been playing some behind the scenes work in the series this whole time.

Finally, I'm starting to fill in the gaps... but still, I have no clue what Wester's been up too for so long. *crosses fingers*

I've only played through so far with one player... so I can't really comment on how well the two player mode goes... and it's not really easy finding a partner. *flips off Cody, Bibby, and Jonas* screw you guys. Lol, maybe a mutliplayer console like the Wii wasn't such a good idea for me.

Anyway, I've been playing on easy... and you get graded on every chapter in every section... I've been getting B's on most of them. I want to play through on Hard... but it seems I've got a ways to go before I can get up to par.

Oh, and here's a neat little tidbit. I just though it was a game you just kind of blow through with no real customization and junk. But you get starts for doing well in the chapters or whatever... these can be spent on upgrading weapons you've found and can be used to replay levels and for levels you are currently playing. So the game pushes you to try to replay levels to get your grade up and to upgrade our weapons. Getting higher grades on levels will also unlock special documents to other information on the RE world. Which is also pretty cool.

Anyway... I'm going to go back playing it now. *tries to get Jonas to play one more time*

About Twilight Princess, I really liked the final battles,
at least the ones before the last one. I loved Puppet Zelda for some reason, and the horse battle
When I bought FFXII, my brother bought TP and I really liked it. I finished it before actually getting into FFXII.

I just had a go at them... and...

yep. FFX's unbearable minigames are still completely unbearable.

C'mon, they expect people to like blitzball and give them such a crappy starting team? They expect people to dodge the freakin' butterflies and set the camera in an angle which you can't freakin' see where the freakin' butterflies are?!

They expect people to win a race in freakin' under than freakin' 0 seconds?!

Come on, Square. Whose idea was it to make the game's best equipment available to people who can play action games well and unavailable to the average, human RPG player?
Makes no sense to me.

Yeah, I think I'll complain about FFX's minigames until the end of time...

... Hah hah. I'm sorry you must endure the tediousness of such things, Gnasher. :lol You are right; FFX is quite bad in terms of its little side quests. I, for one, have eventually decided that it is simply better to never mess with them and live with the knowledge of not having fully conquered this RPG.

As for me, I am about to attempt MegaMan Legends on hard mode. It wasn't until just now that I even heard that another level of difficulty existed for that game at all, but now I have decided that, especially considering I have owned this game for at least eight years and never even knew, it definitely needs to be done. Sarah's Knight goes forth into the life-threatening and chaotic peril of battle once more!

I finally completed the Umbrella Chronicles... and I have to say that I am rather dissapointed. Like badly. I thought that there'd be some uber insite on how umbrella was shut down... but it just turned out to be that
chris and jill just go blow up a base... and that's pretty much it. Wesker stole some data from the plant before it blew. It in no way explains how umbrella was completely shut down as it ends just like any other resident evil game... with the base blowing up. So officially, it's pretty much as RE4 said... they got shut down due to financing because they were found out. UBER UBER GAY.
The ONLY thing you find out in Umbrella chronicles that you didn't already know is exactly how Wesker got his powers which was because
the T-virus has a slight chance (like maybe 50 humans out of all the entire united states) to integrate with the cells of the host isntead of killing them off and making them zombie-like. Wester just happen to be one of those extremely rare cases.
And they still never revealed who exactly Wesker is working for. So, over-all... a pretty dissapointing game. I mean, it was a neat idea... but nothing more.

I finally got my hands on Assassin's Creed... thanks to a special someone. So I'll be delving into that soon.

...It was my first game for the PS2. And after 5, 6 years or something... I have finally completed FFX!

The ending was a little confusing, though; I didn't remember half the plot twists that were supposed to give sense to it. A small piece of advice for everyone: never take 5 years to finish a game. ^^

Oh, and I completely ignored Tidus', Wakka's and Kimahri's celestial weapons. Totally not worth acquiring. If you just want to finish the game, get Lulu's and Yuna's (Lulu's is just patience for lightning bolts; to get Yuna's you need the secret aeons, and with them the battles for the weapons are ridiculous), or anything with 1 MP Cost for both of them... teach Doublecast and Ultima to both... and just spam the hell out of Doublecast Ultima in the final battles. There you go. Not hard at all ^^

Now... as if I'm going to remember the plot of Chrono Cross. I'm at the Terra tower and have already completely forgotten all of the revelations about Lynx and Serge and Chronopolis =P

Hey lantis...
Did you unlock the th secret chapter of the game by playing all the bonus missions? The chapter where you go inside the Hive and kill the new type of monster? Also, did you beat all the Albert Wesker mssions. There is one where you fight two of these Russian Monster things at the same time, and they crush you real easily.

Yeah, I fought them... If you use a magnum, you'll take them out a hell of a lot quicker than normal. The only real hard part of that fight is when they launch rockets at you. And personally, that attacked seemed really out of place.
The machine gun has a better chance at stopping them from hitting you, but it just does crap damage. And it'll only take a matter of time before they get the upper hand. The magnum actually takes off a very large chunch of their life. I had the Magum AT at level 4. So within about 4 laps of that room, they'd be gone.

I got them in 3 when I finally got them... had barely any health left, one guy was dead and the other was almost dead and he was firing rockets at me... decided to not go after the rockets and aim stright at the guy's head. Killed him pretty close to a rocket hitting me.

The problem i had with the rockets is that if one hits you, your sight usually doesn't clear up before the next one hits you... so there's no real way to get around them if you get hit by one of the first ones shot.

I also had problems with that one little attack after you jump in the air. I can manage to get the blue glasses guy from hitting me, but the one in the orange just slipped by just about every time.

Let's see...
Final Fantasy XII: Took a break from it, but I was working on the last hunt.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings- I beat it already. I'm 2 free missions away from getting 100% but I need to level up a bit.
Knowing that getting 100% will make the Final Battle's enemies be level 99 and I'll have to beat that to see the secret ending, I'm not sure if I feel up to the ha;;enge of leveling MORE (I'm at levl 50)
After getting Warcraft 3 back from my cousin after like 3 years =P, I decided to beat the Campaign Mode again.
I'm a total sucker for W3's Campaign story =x
You guys that play WoW, you should all give W3 a try.

Oh, and W3 beats every other game I know in the easter egg department. I mean, just look at the game cheat captions!
iseedeadpeople - reveals the map.
allyourbasearebelongtous - victory!
thereisnospoon - infinite mana
whosyourdaddy - invincible
Just awesome, eh?

Oh... and try selecting units repeatedly to see what they say...
Hearing the Necromancer say "Right-click for some HOT undead action!"
Hearing the Shade (some sort of ghost) say "I'm having a mid-death crisis" and later on sing "I've got no booooody..."
Hearing the Crypt Fiend (giant spider) say "Last week my top half was on Discovery Channel..."

...those things make this game truly priceless :D

Well, I finished Portal not too long ago. I really liked it. I mean, it took alot of creativity to beat it.... and it took that much more creativity to make the game. The last hour of the game was just awesome... hands down.
When you manage to get out of the fire-pit and the computer starts to get a little uneasy about your location, you really start to see why Portal is what it is. I even had a slight chill feeling of "I'm really not suppose to be here". It was awesome to walk up to a window and see one of the previous levels you've finished... I just find it strange there were no employees... anywhere.
And the final bit was awesome too.

Oh, and one of those computer head things will just sit there and tell you ingredients for a cake. But like a really messed up cake... I'm not sure how to explain it, luckily youtube had made a video with the ingredients.

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FjDhpKPrzMs&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FjDhpKPrzMs&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

(Lmao, @ sediment shaped sediment)

I played around a bit with the bonus levels and such... which were also fun... but it didn't take long for me to start playing Assassin's Creed, finally.

You start the game off with pretty much EVERYTHING Altiar can do. So by the time you start getting use to him and all his badassness... something in the storyling, of which I will not spoil, strips you of EVERYTHING. Think of it like playing a Zelda title with every last link item for you to play with, and then have them taken away before you even reach Hyrule field.

Oh, and I've noticed something that has yet to be mentioned. An assassin's left ring-finger is amputated. I assume it's for the hidden blade in their wrists so that they can close off their fist and still be able to extend the blade to it's full length. It's either that or some weird way of saying that assassin's can never marry. Ah well...

I have no qualms about the game really... the only problem I can think of is a personal one. At some times, it kind of feels like I'm playing a GTA title at times. With your "awareness" being like your "felony level". And I don't like GTA. So to avoid it, I'm usually going as stealth as possible. ^_^

(I still think this thread should be stickied, btw...)
