Having covered a lot of ground through Wild Arms 4 today, I pretty much had to suffer an endless thread of really bad gaming dialogue, and I cannot possibly list them all here.

... If any one of them is worthy of note, however, it is Gawn's lame, kiddyish (and, unfortunately, also repeated): "Hop, skip, and a jump! ... Hop, skip, and a jump! ... Hop, skip, and a jump!"

Yeah. You're right. Come to think, most of the bad dialogue did come from Arnaud. (And what kind of name is Arnaud, anyway?)

Still, Wild Arms 4 is a lot like Star Ocean 2 with me, in that even though most of the battle dialogue and the voice acting itself is pretty lame, it still gives fighting such a colorful atmosphere that you're still glad overall that voice acting is present.

... And, Gnasher, you also came up with something that I am shocked none of the rest of us already mentioned from the start of this thread. Next to Naga the Serpent from Slayers, Kefka has truly the most frightening laugh in media history.

Actually, as far as bad quotes so, I would nominate the game itself.

Not to rap on it at all. The voice work is mostly humorous, so the game is lots of fun to play.

oh god i know exactly how it is. i am playing this game right now and i cant wait for it to finish. the story is really cheese, the lines are outright dumb or nonsensical and the whole feel of the game is off. this game has gone too far into the whole friends and teamwork thing and every line is horrendous display of what an rpg should not be.

if i hear that stupid chicks high voice announce "i am not a burden" once more then im going to smash the game into a billion bits.
