You KNOW this means that Sonic WILL appear in SSB: BRAWL?

How is that going to work? Is not Sonic a super fast moving dude who can go into a ball and move very fast? He will out run any person on the field.

Um.... Sonic will rape Mario before he even realizes it even happened.

Honestly, I've played Olympic based games before... and I honestly think they are going to really have to do something alot more interesting than use video game characters to make it worth while.

I believe the draw of it that it willbe on the wii...How many olympic games have you played where you have to fling your arms furiously to swim or run?

I for one hope it does well. Not only should it be a fun group game. But perhaps it will help give some revival to sonic.

Um, I doubt a sports game will bring back sonic to his previous glory.

In fact, alot of game characters that aren't naturally in sports games end up crashing and burning, such as Megaman Soccer... yeesh. Or worse, sports characters in non-sports games like Shaq-fu... *dies*

This seriously is a party game. Definately something you'd get bored of by yourself after so long. But it seems that's what the Wii is geared for, so more power to it.

But yeah, I agree... the hook here is with the controls.

Unless Sonic makes a surprise appearance in Smash Bros. Brawl.

Anyway, I haven't played very many Olympic games. Actually, the only thing I've played that was even close was Konami's Track & Field, and I hated that. Stupid button mashing.

Last time i checked, regular Sonic doen't like fire. And mario has been known to have some speed inducing powerups from time to time.

In super mario sunshine, mario collected coins, not for extra lives, or more points (though they gave him both) They were used as his health meter. when he was hit he'd hemmorage coins, then if the player was fast enough he could collect them all be fore they disapeared.

Oh yeah, that water tank of his did make him pretty speedy.

Hurry for 1 month bump. And so you know, that's not a fact. It was a "what if" statment. I'm pretty sure that Sonic won't be in Brawl.

Sonic would be too good in Brawl. After all, he moves over 10x faster than any other character in the game, and his speed alone gives him a lot of momentum and power. This would sonic to ultimate. They'd dumb him down and that would suck.

Or, they could make all the other characters better. I hear Snake is gonna be in Brawl. WTF? Snake isn't Nintendo, so why would he be in brawl?

Anyway, Id still buy Brawl if Sonic was in it or not. I still need a Wii though.

It's not a matter if considering to buy it if he is there or not... in fact, this isn't even about Brawl. It's about the olypics. Geez...
