I havn't actually played through the whole game, but my grandma has a game on it at the last battle and I was able to beat it in 1 try compared to her 6 tries it took to beat it.

One of the hardest games I've ever played. I never got past the first battle against summoners, and a lot of previous battles took multiple tries (especially the last battle in Chapter 1).

I'm probably suck at TRPGs, though. But I like FFT regardless. I still own it. Sometime I need to make another attempt at it. Just as soon as I'm not too worried about spending 100-some-odd hours in a single game.

I absolutely loved that game! The one for GBA kind of dissapointed me, since it seemed somewhat limited on the classes, but I hope to play it again someday.

OMG, I love TRPGs. I've picked up as many as possbile. Nippon Ichi has some great titles. Such as: Phantom Brave, La Pucelle Tactics, Disgaea: hour of Darkness (soon to have a sequal). Then there is Suikoden Tactics, Final Fantasy tactics advance... the list goes on.

To this date, Final Fantasy Tactics has been my favorite TRPG. It had the best battle system (job classes) and the story was deep... worthy of MULTIPLE plays through. (anyone beat deep dungeon? It's worth it).

But the hardest one I've ever played was Phantom Brave.... holy crap. If you have beaten that game, you know what I'm talking about.

Oh, Phantom Brave is another of my favorites. I was pumping my characters to beat the remaining extra missions. But I overwrote that file with another one (I started another game) :cry
I so want to play other Nippon Ichi games and Suikoden Tactics (Suikoden is my favorite RPG series)
Heck, I want to replay FFT too! (So many TRPGs, so little time :\ )I did manage to beet Deep Dungeon, but I'm not sure if I did manage to beat the game. I was so busy leveling up all the characters to lvl 99 and getting every item in the deep dungeon... and mastering all jobs with some characters...

I'm playing Suikoden Tactics right now. I like it pretty well. Definately not FFT. But for a strategic RPG, you'll like it. The biggest problem I have is that it does the whole Sluikoden "give you a crap load of characters" thing, but you can only have so many in a fight. So it's near impossible to keep them all leveled up. I've been picking and choosing a select few and just leaving the others to rot.

Oh, and just for conversation...

Good Job combos...

Knight w/ ninja's two sword ability
Equip Orlandu's Excalaber and
What's-her-name's Save the Queen...

I always liked Archer's with knight abilities. Never worked too well, but what can I say, I like archers.

My little brother loved the two swords with monk combo. Two powerful fists, BAM BAM! I personally went with concentrate, one powerful 100% acc punch

I am a Monk whore. It's one of my favorite jobs.

Here's a something for you. Have a monk and a summoner (early on in the game) and Just pair these two up. Have the Monk cast Chakra on it's self and the summoner every turn so that the summoner can rape everything without worry of MP... or HP for that matter.

Another Monk trick. Find a random map that has five panels with the same height (the plus sign). Monk in the middle, four characters around the monk. Beat the crap out of eachother for free EXP and chakra to compensate.
