The nsm bros is a new game for the ds, u can now enjoy classic platforming fun that mario had redefined. The story is like previous mario games, peach gets kiddnapped and mario goes on a long quest without any preperation to save her. if you played previous games of it ull no that this game has the old classic lvls, but with extra twists. u still jump,smash,run,kill,glide,swim, and other things, but hey who doesnt like this stuff? there r 8 worlds in total if im correct, from pipe worlds to the classic mushroom kingdom world this game is fun and great. it also has some multiplayer games,the star battle one is the best and there r minigames. The top screen is to see mario in all of his glory, the bottom u can use to choose use an item u get. Theres more!!! 2 new mushrooms r added, big mushroom that makes u freakishly huge and the mini mushroom that makes u small but this has no important use in the game.

The Good :classic,cool,collected,fun and a great sidescroller platformer.
Songs r awesome and the graphics r better. multi-goodness

The bad : if ur a touch guy this game has no "touch"(except for item usage). Graphics arent a revolutionary achievement to the ds but they r the best ive seen. i dont c a lot of replay value if u count playing it again.

Buy?? : if u like mario ya! if u like good sidescroller platforming ya!

Rating: the game has major good points and is kool. almost everything about it is awesome. so....

"New Super Mario Bros." is the newest "Mario Bros." installment for the Nintendo DS. You can again enjoy classic platforming fun that the Mario series had once redefined.

The story is like previous Mario games, Peach gets kidnapped and Mario goes on a long quest without any preparation to save her. If you played previous games in the series, you'll know that this game has classic level design, but with extra twists. You still jump, smash, run, kill, glide, swim, etc; But, hey, who doesn't like this stuff?

There are 8 worlds in total if I'm correct. From pipe worlds to the classic Mushroom Kingdom world this game is fun and great.

It also has some multiplayer games. The "Star Battle" multiplayer is the best.

The game also contains numerous mini-games.

The top screen is to see Mario in all of his glory, the bottom you can use to choose use an item in your inventory.

There's more!!! Two new mushrooms items have been added. Big mushroom make you freakishly huge and Mini mushrooms make you small.

The Good:
This installment is Classic, Cool, Collective, and an overall fantastic sidescrolling platformer.
The soundtrack is awesome. The graphics are improved over previous installments. The new multiplayer mode is excellent.


The bad:
Touch-Screen function is limited to the selection of items from your inventory.
Graphics could be better.
Little Replay value.

Purchase Worthy?:
If you are a Mario fan: YES!
If you are a fan of Sidescrolling Platformers: YES!

Rating: Almost everything about "New Super Mario Bros." is improved. There are, however, some minor flaws.
