life without video games..hmmmmmm. here is my thought of what could uve happened:

im watching tv. and my brother would ask:

brother:"why cant we play the t.v.??"
me:"what??
brother: "why cant we play it??"
me:Because such things dont exist young one"
brother: "what if we could"
me: "wars would end young one"
me: (gets up and sings)
If we could play t.v, then i would stop sitting here and watching.
cause no one could stop me, from plaaaaying the t.v. my fingers would
be pressing without any stressing. this whole world would suddenly stop
they would look at thier clock, and notice its time for Gaaaaaaaming.
(police break in)
Police: stop these crazy beliefs
Police officer #1:what if such a thing exsisted??
Police officer #2:(gets up and sings)

Without video games, hmm well I would get into more anime and read more. Or I would probably do something insane. Who knows what we would probably be doing.

Anyways, without games... I would read alot more books... watch alot more anime... and skateboard alot more.

Oh, and I would more than less live on the internet...

I would listen to more music and watch more TV. I would also constantly scream for no apparent reason.

They'd blame the Columbine shooting on something else, perhaps. It won't be the parents, though. Maybe music or something.

I myself would still be watching lots of TV. On account I have nothing better to do. I probably would be worse off, actually. Video games have come to inspire me, to want to create my own games. TV I pretty much would watch and nothing else. Without video games, I'd have no creativity.

Draygone, I want to let you know you bring up a wonderful point. How would the school shootings be blamed? It seems that "justice" want to blame it on ANYTHING but the actual person that pulled the trigger. If they want to blame it on kids playing sick games, then they should realize that the kid was already sick for playing them in the first place. How about their family life? I'm sure that a cheating mother and abusive father would be more damaging that GTA.

Actually, the columbine shooting was mostly blamed on Marilyn Manson. He was protested for like a year because of it...then he went and did a concert in Denver to piss people off/prove a point.

Without games, I'd end up a poor exiltentialist(sp) writer or artist with sever mental disorders including paranoia.

For reals. I think I have that in me, but my gaming hobbies keep it at bay.

People do have a problem of taking the blame on their mistakes but they always have a scapegoat for everything. Life without video would probably be just like Fay said. I know I'm paranoid because of the police, but anymore paranoid I would go crazy. Like Dave Chappelle who cracked under the pressure of being successful so fast
