I have all the games that released in the states, since Shining Force has gone crappy.

I never got to beat it but its a good game. Did you beat it by chance?

Fire Emblem is too hard for me. When I lose a character, I end up quitting and don't touch it for months. I only have part 1. >_>

I got bored after the second mission of the GBA one. I'm more the Nippon Ichi(Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom) and FF Tactics type.

I got tired of trying to do this one mission, and end up either getting one of my characters killed, or killing the end boss too soon, before getting the extras.

i played the first fire emblem for gba and i played fire emblem for gc. i took them both back.

i wish i could be a fire emblem fan, but it's just not gonna happen. i think shining force has the edge and is much better.

I'm planning on getting Fire Emblem on GameCube. Not sure how much I'll like it, as the whole deal about dead characters staying dead kinda worries me.

Well, in Shining Force I-III, you can just easily revive characters in chapels. In Fire Emblem, you have to really think about your moves.

I love Fire Emblem. I got to Mission 23 on the first and then lost the game. A few weeks ago I got Sacred Stones and I am on Mission 4 right now. I am planning on getting Path of Radiance for Gamecube soon.

I love the Fire Emblem series, but only the two GBA titles (the first one, and the Sacred Stones). They're pretty good, although they use a very similar system to so many other strategy RPGs on the GBA (just check out the Advance Wars series and you'll know what I mean).
And Shining Force going "crappy"? Wow! I think Ixzion's the first person I've ever heard say that (although I will admit I played Shining Force 1 and 2 for the Gen, and any third title is something I haven't heard about). o_O

Yeah, I got Fire Emblem. I have yet to play it. Especially since I've found myself with such little free time this past month or two. (Geez, when was the last time I beat a game?)
