Been playing a lot of Breath of the Wild and have finished 60 shrines so far, and have uncovered the whole map. There's still a lot of exploring for me to do, but I'm making good progress through the game.

Another good week that managed to come close to breaking even overall:

New Titles:
* Justice Chronicles (3DS) - A Kemco mobile RPG port I missed and a friend recommended.
* Sky Force Anniversary (PS4) - One I noticed when seeing a release announcement for WiiU but got the PS4 port. It's a fun STG with slight RPG elements.
* Human Resource Machine (Switch) - A very fun puzzle game that teaches some basic programming and shows some of the nitty gritty details on how your computer works.
* Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight (Switch) - Retro-style Metroidvania that's quite fun so far.

Progress:
* Beat Ys Origin on Yunica's path.
* Continued along the Megaman Legacy collection on 3DS with Mega Man 2, beating both Normal and Difficult modes.
* Managed a no-death run of Mega Man 3 while waiting in various lines at ComiCon.
* Beat the main stages of Sky Force Anniversary and am close to completion. Just have to grind the remaining 4 power-up cards.
* Beat the main path, then every level in Human Resource Machine and am currently working on getting both Optimization bonuses for each puzzle.
* Taking a bit of a break from the Mega Man Legacy Collection to work on Picross 3D 2.

After today I won't have access to my consoles for the rest of the month, so if I don't finish Sky Force Anniversary tonight, it will have to wait. I'll be able to work on 3DS, Vita, and Switch game progress though.

Had a bit of a slow start this week but more than made up for it over the weekend.

New Games:
* Touhou Gensou Wanderer and Touhou Double Focus (PS4): A 2-in-1 package that is really the only new title that counts against the backlog. Both had good starts.
* Danganronpa 1+2 Reload (PS4): Another 2-in-1, though I've already beaten the Vita versions of both (and sold them), but this will be handy when I feel like replaying.
* Zero Escape: The Nonary Games (PS4): Oh, another 2-in-1! And another set I've beaten before but feel like replaying sometime.
* Mega Man Game Boy collection (3DSVC): Playing through the Legacy Collection made me want to replay the Game Boy titles. Since all 5 can be gotten on the 3DS eShop for less than $20, I dove in.

Progress:
* Beat VOEZ on Switch by clearing all songs at least once, though there's still plenty of meat to the game to clear all songs on all difficulties, unlocking the full diary, and getting every icon.
* Finished up Human Resource Machine on Switch by fully optimizing every solution.
* Beat Picross 3D Round 2 by clearing the initial 40 books, but another 16 open up for post-game so there's still plenty left.
* Beat Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge (3DSVC) and it definitely remains arguably THE hardest 2D Mega Man.
* Beat Mega Man II (3DSVC) and love how it overcompensated for the first game by being overly easy.
* Finished Sky Force Anniversary by getting the remaining collectibles while I was home on Sunday.
* Did a second run of Mega Man II and achieved a no-death run.
* Beat Mega Man III (3DSVC). Its first half is a good challenge before the difficulty spike in the second half.
* Beat Mega Man IV (3DSVC) but not 100%, overall easier than III mainly because it's easier to avoid taking damage. Despite that, EVERYTHING seems to hit like a truck.
* Went back to Mega Man IV to 100% it by getting those missing power-ups.

The only new game on the radar for this week is the PS4 version of Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 Final Mix HD, but that won't really affect the backlog either. With positive progress being made against the backlog for now I'm hoping to slow down the gaming a bit and get caught up on some books and DVDs, especially after I get back home and have full access to everything again.

Another balanced week.

New Titles:
* Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 HD ReMix (PS4) - Makes me glad I never got around to playing the PS3 ports, so I upgraded to this.
* Little Inferno (Switch) - Had heard interesting things about this and wanted to give it a shot.
* Metal Slug (NeoGeo ACA Switch) - Another classic.

Progress:
* Enjoyed Little Inferno enough to beat the main game in one sitting. Still have to go back and 100% it by getting all the Combination stamps and the alternate ending.
* Beat Mega Man V on Game Boy but have not yet 100%'d it.
* Beat but did not 100% Metal Slug.
* Beat 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors with 5/6 of the endings.
* Beat Virtue's Last Reward with all 9 endings but haven't scene every scenario to unlock the secret ending for 100%.

Why did I beat but not 100% so many games this week when I could have easily done so? I'm currently at 1,999 :C:'d games on Backloggery and held a poll for what #2,000 should be. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword won that poll so I finally got back to it this weekend, getting ready for the 3rd dungeon. If I play any other games before that's done, I will intentionally not be 100%ing them.

Looking forward to Persona 5 and LEGO City Undercover (PS4) this week.

Man, Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the most fun I've had with a game in ages.

I've only done one of the legendary beasts, but it's just so fun.

This week could have ended in negative progress, but I managed to break through after focusing nearly all of my free time on finishing Skyward Sword.

New titles:
* Persona 5 (PS4)
* LEGO City Undercover (PS4)
* Dragon Sinker (3DSDL)
* Graceful Explosion Machine (Switch DL)

Progress:
* Beat and 100%'d Skyward Sword
* 100%'d both titles in the Nonary Games compilation
* 100%'d Mega Man V
* 100%'d Little Inferno

Looking forward to Cosmic Star Heroine this week and will be slowing down a little to catch up on some videos that need editing along with finishing the book I'm reading on-the-go.

A slight week of surprises courtesy of the Nintendo Direct.

New titles:
* Cosmic Star Heroine (PS4)
* Team Kirby Clash Deluxe (3DSDL)
* Bye-Bye BoxBoy! (3DSDL)
* Pic-a-Pix Color (3DSDL and WiiU)

Progress is still slightly positive as I'm not counting Team Kirby Clash Deluxe or the Pic-a-Pix games against my backlog. Finishing Metal Slug (Switch), then beating and 100%ing Bye-Bye BoxBoy! pulled me through an otherwise slow gaming week due to busy evenings and weekend.

Looking forward to Runbow Pocket Deluxe on 3DS and the Disney Afternoon collection on PS4 this week.

Well, Runbow Pocket Deluxe was delayed (again), but I still had a really good gaming week.

New Purchases:
* Disney Afternoon Collection (PS4): 6 classic NES titles, 5 of 'em really dang good.
* Warriors Orochi 1+2 (PS2): Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate became one of my favorites, so I wanted to take a look at how the story started and connected.

Progress:
* 100%'d Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers on the DAC by clearing all areas.
* 100%'d TaleSpin on the DAC. It was the only one I had never played before but found it to be mediocre in terms of gameplay.
* 100%'d DuckTales on the DAC.
* 100%'d Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2 on the DAC.
* 100%'d Darkwing Duck on the DAC.
* Beat and 100%'d DuckTales 2 on the DAC (the ending changes based on completing the treasure map).
* Beat Warriors Orochi 1 and 2 on Shu's scenario.
* Beat Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.

This week's going to be awesome courtesy of Dragon Quest Heroes II, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as well as a surprise announcement of River City Melee: Battle Royale Special on PS4 for this week too.

I have beaten The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

It is one of the best games of ALL TIME.

If you are a gamer, you should play this game.

10/10 - Must Play (not perfect)

Negative progress this week as I've poured all of my focus onto one title.

New acquisitions:
* Puyo Puyo Tetris (PS4)
* Dragon Quest Heroes II (PS4)
* River City Melee: Battle Royal Special (PS4)
* KAMIKO (Switch)
* Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch)

Been focused entirely on Dragon Quest Heroes II do the point I haven't even turned on any of the others. Have put in about 24 hours on my file and am close to the end of the main game.

Another week of several new titles courtesy of the PSN sale and some great Neo Geo Arcade Classics being released, but I was able to hit it out of the park in the end.

New Titles:
* Raiden IV: OverKill (PS3)
* The Caligula Effect (Vita)
* Last Resort (PS4)
* Blazing Star (Switch)
* The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd

With those listed, time to note progress:
* 100%'d Team Kirby Clash Deluxe
* Beat Dragon Quest Heroes II
* Beat and 100%'d Blazing Star
* Beat KAMIKO
* Beat and 100%'d Last Resort
* Beat and 100%'d Raiden IV: OverKill
* Felt like replaying Wario Land II after a CGGP race of it, so I beat and 100%'d it.
* Beat River City Melee: Battle Royal Special
* Beat Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

This week will hopefully be light as the only expected release I intend to pick up is The Revenant Saga on PS4/Vita. Since it's a Kemco RPG, I'll likely play it on Vita and can say thank goodness for cross-buy.

All right, was too busy with RPG Limit Break last week to give an update so here's what's gone on over the past two weeks:

New Titles:
* Fairune (Vita)
* The Legend of Dark Witch (Vita)
* Revenant Saga (PS4/Vita)
* Dark Witch Music Episode: Rudymical (Switch DL)
* Akiba's Beat (PS4)
* Drancia Saga (3DSDL)
* Thumper (Switch DL)

Progress:
* 100%'d Picross 3D Round 2 (3DS)
* Beat and 100%'d Mega Man 5 on the 3DS Legacy Collection
* Beat and 100%'d Mega Man 6 on the 3DS Legacy Collection
* 100%'d the Switch port of Metal Slug 3
* Beat and 100%'d Zero Time Dilemma (Vita)
* Beat Dark Witch Music Episode: Rudymical (Switch)
* Beat Drancia Saga (3DSDL)
* Beat Slot Car Rivals (StreetPass Mii Plaza)
* Beat Market Crashers (StreetPass Mii Plaza)

Looking forward to Samurai Warriors: Episode Sanada, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2nd, and a PS4 port of Star Ocean 3 this week.

A slow week followed up by a heavy gaming weekend made this past week break even.

New titles:
* Fire Emblem Exchoes: Shadows of Valentia (3DS)
* Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada (PS4)
* Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception (PS4)
* Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time (PS4)
* Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 (PS4)

Progress:
* Beat and 100%'d Dragon Sinker on 3DS.
* Beat Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada.

I say break even as Star Ocean 3 is a duplicate and upgrading to Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 carried progress over from the first game so those didn't affect my backloggery progress score.

Positive progress this week as there were no new expected releases but did pick up one on impulse since it was brand new for $15.

* 100%'d Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada
* Bought and Beat Samurai Warriors 3

Currently started and am working on Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and enjoying it for what it is so far. Also taking a break from on-the-go gaming to finally read Mel Blanc's autobiography.

A heavy gaming week but little to show for it as I haven't beaten anything due to playing 2 JRPGs. Currently at Chapter 5 of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE at home and jumped into Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors for on-the-go after finishing Mel Blanc's autobiography, though I'm still in the first major area there as the pacing in that series is pretty slow.

While there were no no releases to pick up, I did find copies of the original Samurai Warriors, Samurai Warriors 2, and Samurai Warriors 2: Xtreme Legends. That leaves plenty more Musou itches to scratch down the line.

Despite spending much of the week with my brother's kids I did manage to make some progress in various titles. Currently gearing up for the final dungeon in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and am at the third major area of Criminal Girls 2.

Managed to beat Mii Trek in the 3DS Streetpass Plaza at this months gaming group meet-up but otherwise haven't finished anything else.

The eShop having a great update brought on the new releases as I picked up Mighty Gunvolt Burst on Switch with more expected on Tuesday.

So far this week will see the following:
* Cave Story + (Switch)
* God Wars: Days of Future Past (PS4)
* River City: Knights of Justice (3DS)
* Runbow Pocket Deluxe (3DS)

Things should lighten up again after this week as I have only two more planned releases to buy in June and one in July. 'course PSN and the Nintendo eShop could pull more surprises...

Managed to make some great positive progress this week despite the number of unplayed titles stacking up.

New titles:
* God Wars: Future Past (PS4)
* River City: Knights of Justice (3DSDL)
* Oceanhorn - Monster of Uncharted Seas (NSDL)

Progress:
* Beat Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and have marked it as 100%'d since I did everything possible in a first run and don't have time for a NG+ for minimal additional content (WiiU)
* Beat Samurai Warriors (PS2)
* Beat Samurai Warriors 2 (PS2)
* Beat Feed Mii (3DS Streetpass Plaza)
* Beat Ninja Launcher (3DS Streetpass Plaza)
* Beat and 100%'d Mario is Missing Done Right (SMW ROM Hack)
* Finished 100%'ing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone

This week will see Valkyria Revolution (PS4) and potentially pick up Ever Oasis (3DS) at Fay's recommendation.

Final Fantasy XV: I'm still trying to figure out how to f*cking fight in this game, but apparently I'm too stupid to understand how to warp to stuff properly, even in wait mode. Yay.
