If you became a Club Nintendo platinum member, there is a chance you get 4 codes to download the Super Smash Bros demo. Everyone else will need to wait until the 19th (which isn't so bad)
I must say I'm annoyed at the fact that I didn't get platinum status by 10 points, but knowing my luck, I would have probably not been a selected member.

If the demo is the same one as the Japanese ones, players will be able to play Mario, Link, Mega Man, Villager, and Pikachu. the only selectable stage is Battlefield (Normal and Omega mode, Omega mode is Final Destination mode, with no platforms or stage hazards)
Also, from I heard, any coins earned are transferred to game, but I'm not sure how true that last bit is.

Edit: You need to enable email notifications from Nintendo Club since the codes would be emailed. These demos have an unlimited amount of uses, unlike the one that'll be available next week at the eShop (30 uses.)
So if youhave Platinum status, enable those emails for a day at least!
