So there's an 11 page thread for the original L4D, but this one's still on its first page a year after release? Did this place lose a lot of members, or were people just really attached to the first game?

Mostly, we see eachother online and message using Live. Other than that, I personally never got into the second like the first. I haven't played it for more than four hours since January.

To me, it just lost some of it's charm after the first. I prefer the survivors of the first big time too.

It's also that L4D2 was more unfair than L4D. When a tank comes out in the first game, that's it. But in 2, you get a tank and like every f*cking special infected in the game at the same time. The tank is supposed to be a boss infected that takes everyone to beat. On Advanced, this is brutal. And impossible on Expert. There, I said it.

Plus, the second crew of survivors aren't as charming as the first. We still play L4D some times, but I haven't desired to go back to 2 much.

Figure I'd throw it out there, but I've got both L4D games. Ix and I had a fun time going through 2. I'm totally up for L4D anytime, so shoot me an invite if you're down.

Played a little Campaign mode and some Survival last night. Was some pretty good fun seeing I haven't played L4D2 in a grip and a half. As stated before, I generally prefer L4D1 for reasons that are mostly picking nits, but it wasn't so bad as long as you aren't playing versus I suppose.
