Sonic 3 and Knuckles. The speed of the game and the varying levels were awesome. Plus, blue hedgehogs that run at super sonic speeds pwn plumbers.

Agree'd. When the Super Mario Advance series was created, I was surprised SMB3 was the last one.

As for Sonic 3, I that's also an awesome game, though the carnival stage stumped me for two years...
