Absolutely everything about this is a sure fire win... well, minus the waggle. I really hope they have a waggle-less mode.

*points at the DS Zelda games*

But at least movement will be controlled with the analog stick.

I'm glad they've reached a comprimise in the graphics. That is, combining cel-shading with 3D. I mean, the graphics in Twilight Princess were pretty awesome, but I was slightly disappointed that Nintendo let fan opinions sway them from going the cel-shaded route they tried in Wind Waker. DS games, aside.

Oh gosh, don't remind me. I just about broke my DS out of frustration on both final bosses of Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.

Still. Nintendo really needs to have an option to play with a normal controller.

I doubt it'll happen, though. Judging by the whole "enemy weakpoints" thing, the game wouldn't work without 1:1 motion controls.

I don't know what your problem was Lantis, but Zelda Phantom Hourglass' controls worked perfectly for me.

The final boss' draw a figure eight thing to make him weak ended up not working most the time and resulted in me running into the boss all the time. I'm not saying that the rest of the game also suffered from it, but at least the boss does.

And even then, I would have loved to have the option to move Link around with the d-pad and been able to use the buttons for attcking and itmes and such. It shouldn't be too much to ask for and I know I'm not the only person who would like this.

Am I the only one that think it's nice to see Link wearing some actual pants with that tunic?
I mean, it looks weird, but ti's still nice. :)

When I first saw Link in the trailer I was like, "what the hell is he wearing?" Then I was like, "Oh... Pants."
