I purchased this game Thursday from a pawn shop for 10 bucks.

Anyway, the game gives off the Kirby's Adventure vibe, except this time around, there are even more weapons Kirb can absorb, and for the weapons he wants to use later: he can store them in reserve at the bottom of the DS screen.

New weapons:

Cupio (kind of like Cupid)
Metal (a harder version of stone...literall)
Magic
Ghost (requires you get all the ghost pieces)

The old weapons are there, too, but you have a change to advance your basic skills by collecting certain scrolls found in the treasure chests located throughout. There are 120 in all; some are easy to get, while others are down right hard...sometimes.

This game has excellent replay value. My only gripes are that you when you turn the game off, you lose all the lives you gained, as well as the weapons you had reserved. Another gripe is the difficulty of the bosses. Some are mere pushovers, while others require a lot more skill to overcome. Overall, I'm glad I purchased this game for a lot less than what I would find on ebay and amazon.

This game is one that interested me, but I've held back ever since the mirror game on GBA. Nice to hear an opinion on it.

No saving of your lives, that's okay. I've found that every game that saves my extra lives, I wind up reaching close to 99 by the time I beat the game. But the storing of abilities is pretty important to me.

Kirby games always seem to have consisently good quality. Not great, not bad, but good.

For me, Squeak Squad was no exception. It was a good game.
