Instead of listing them anymore (besides alphabetically), I'm just going to make notes about each one:
Blackthorne - If you like Abe's Oddysee, then you'll love this game. Though it had a much darker tone (which was awesome).
Breath of Fire II - Well, who HASN'T played BoF 2? If not, then why?
Death and Return of Superman - Probably not everyone's favorite, but I thought it was fun for a beat'em up. I rather enjoyed flying, though prepare for a kind of cheesey storyline.
Demon's Crest - You play a side scroller as a demon. The first part of the first level just get's you hook. Great way to start a game.
Donkey Kong Country - Because DK is awesome. Though DK2 is awesomer. DK3... meh.
Dragon View - I'm sure that NO ONE here has played this game. Too bad too because it's just great. Was probably the first RPG to have a fully 3D world map. And on SNES... a nice feat.
Earthbound - Hard to comment on this because... well, it's freaking Earthbound.
Earthworm Jim - Oh the hummor. Think of playing a Megaman, as Bass... in a world where bad jokes and crazy themes have no bounds.
Ecco: The Tides of Time - Here's one of the game I would like to say I grew up on. But man, was it hard. I still remember when I beat it. Good times. (the ending still confuses the ever loving hell out of me though).
Final Fantasy VI - Yay Cecil conflited between Darkness and Light.
Flashback - Like Blackthorne, it's an Abe type game. Highly recommended if you like the genre. The theme this time is memory loss, I believe.
Goof Troop - Actually, this isn't that great of game, but it is fun as hell... specially on co-op. It's a top down puzzley type game.
Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures - An indy game that covers the first three movies? Yes please... Trust me, it's much better then the title implies.
Killer Instinct - *spams Cinder's combo repeatedly*
Megaman X - Didn't get 2 till next year, but this game was just awesome. BTW, this game probably has the best song in the X series: Spark Mandrill's theme.
Micky Mania - Not sure why, but it was just a fun platformer. A very charming game... even for disney. If anything it had great graphics for it's time.
Sonic 3 and Knuckles - Probably the best game of this year. I can't stress to you how much this game rocks. Sega hasn't made a Sonic game anywhere CLOSE to this one since.
Stunt Race FX - A fun 3D racer. I had many a good hours with this game. Actually, it may be responcible for me even being interested in the racing genre.
Super Metroid - Actually, I may like watching the speedruns than actually playing. But still... great game.
True Lies - Free roaming top down shooter. Based after the movie. Hard as hell, but as fun as it is hard.
Uniracers - OMG, what a great idea. This game is highly addicting... specially once you get into the later levels. You race Unicycles. O_o
Young Merlin - More of a puzzle game than an RPG, but I guess it's both. One of those games you might have to have a walkthrough to beat. But definately fun. Great animations and sound effects.
Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II - If you liked the first Star Tropics, then I really don't even need to comment.
Other games I'd like to mention:
Live A Live - I haven't played this yet, but I've heard that it's a wonderful RPG. If ever I get a chance, I'd much like to give it a shot.
Super 3D Noah's Ark - This is a wolfenstien 3D clone. It was completely re-textured to have a Ark theme with animals instead of Nazi's, and you shot sleeping pills from a slingshot. No lie.
Favorite of 1994: This is really hard to pick because of how many games I actually got out of this year. I've mostly gone with RPGs, but this year I think I'm going to have to give it to Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
