And, you forgot God of War 3 on sony's side. As well as Final Fantasy XIII and Resident Evil 5, if that counts. Also, The PS3 Home.

Wait a sec... E3 hasn't happened, yet? But it's been consistantly taking place earlier and earlier in the year since 1998!

No, it hasn't. For the longest time, it was always in May. But after Nintendo won E3 2006, MS and Sony got sand in their p*ssy and said they didn't want to spend all that money.

Additionally, devs said that they weren't getting enough time to prepare E3 demos, so they pushed it back to July to give them 3 extra months.

Didn't it use to take place in June, though? I mean, I know they've been having it in May. But before that, late 90s/early 00s?

No, guess not. Maybe I was just thrown off by when I read about it in Nintendo Power. That, and that "it's here, already?" feeling I would get every year.
