I can't figure out why there is a large amount of space after my signature. (Although the preview is not showing that this time).

Also I don't know how to view my post without spamming another post to make sure that the post itself looks ok.

It seems like both these concerns could be addressed by a single individual.

Am I actually supposed to sift through the topics to find the appropriate one, create a topic for a simple question, or is there a single topic I can always rely on within the "Suggestions, Comments, Problems" forum for a simple question.

Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by "large amount of space" in your signature. It looks fine to me.

Try hitting the Preview button, next to the Submit button, to make sure your post looks right.

Near the top of the page is a Search link. That might help a little.

(Likewise, there's a FAQ link right next to the Search link.)

@ Draygone

Thanks for the info. I tried the FAQ link but didn't realize about the search link until you pointed it out so I definitely appreciate that.

I guess my signature is now fine but there was one post where there was a large amount of space after the text, but that doesn't seem to be a problem with any of my other posts.

Sorry about the double post, but look at the space on the last post. See how it is different from the post above yours? I guess it isn't fine?

It's because your post isn't as tall as your name, title, avatar, join date, post count, and location. :P

Wow! That's so obvious now that I'm ashamed to consider myself a thinking individual.

Thanks.

Yep good ole HTML table layout, though of course floating div isn't all that much better.
