Well why not just delete it its not like we really use it. If its taking up alot of space and no one use's it then why have it.

bah, can't be near as much as you'd think. You can imagine Ix, OD, and other staffers to get a bit... but not enough to warrant anything to stand up to 20000

thats true enough. Though it might be worth thinking about cutting a few of the most pointless threads, i reckon it would be a waste of effort.

Deleting threads would probably annoy someone or other, who couldn't bear the thought of their prized pwnage going down the drain. also, its not like deletion will actually benefit us much, is it?

Well, I already had a big talk with OW. about getting rid of old threads to make room for new ones. "too much work"

There is alot more work involved in weeding through and picking out crap threads and keeping others.... and just deleting everything. Makes sense to me.

Yeah, Thats what he said. But I still think it would be ok just to delete the last 5 pages of threads with everything. The hammer can really use that. Its all spam anyway. We can always make more of that.

No wonder it's the biggest forum, it's the place we posters feel free =P Or something like that.

but why delete anything at all? it's not like the forum will get cut off at any certain amount of posts.. there isn't a limit... deleting old threads would be a waste of time because there is no reason to delete them, it doesn't "make room" for anything since room isn't a serious issue it's like effort with no reward really >__>

There isnt a real reason to keep them either. But i guess its just wasted dead space.

Maybe we should start a thread about old threads... Every post must have a link to a dead thread... Just as long as we don't start bumping those dead threads, we might be able to get a few laughs. Whatcha think?
