try firefox its way better than IE anyday and faster. The internet browser market has long been dominated by Internet Explorer, but a new kid on the block -- Firefox -- is making strong inroads against the Microsoft product's dominance. To date, over 75 million copies of Firefox have been downloaded by users around the world. Here are some reasons why you should replace Explorer with Firefox.

1. No Pop Ups. Unlike Explorer, Firefox has a nifty pop up blocker in place. No more garbage to fill your screen as you search the internet with Firefox. Can't say the same for Explorer, however.

2. Your Security. Spyware, trojan horses, and ActiveX controls are stopped in their tracks. Explorer limits through unreliable third party downloads.

3. Quick Downloading. Downloading files is a snap as they are done quickly and painlessly. Once Firefox completes the download you will be prompted to clean up [remove] unneeded files.

4. Tabbed Browsing. Surfing the internet is easier as users can open up one window and set tabs for quick access to multiple web pages. Specifically, all your browser windows actually work within one window, each marked by tabs that you can click in and out of with ease.

5. Tons of extensions, themes, and plug-ins. You can customize Firefox to work the way you want it to work. Download an ad blocker, a new toolbar, a special theme, or include plug-ins such as Adobe Reader, Windows Media Player, Shockwave, Flash Player, and more.

Firefox is not perfect, but it goes a long way further than Explorer in giving users an enjoyable internet experience. For this reason alone, it is worth being downloaded by you.

See they love it.

Quote:

A Better Web Experience
Firefox 1.5 has an intuitive interface and blocks viruses, spyware, and popup ads. It delivers Web pages faster than ever. And it’s easy to install and import your favorites. Packed with useful features like tabbed browsing, Live Bookmarks, and an integrated Search bar, Firefox will change the way you experience the Web, for the better.
Faster Browsing
Enjoy quick page loading as you navigate back and forward in a browsing session. Improvements to the engine that powers Firefox deliver more accurate display of complex Web sites, support for new Web standards, and better overall performance.
Automatic Updates
The new Software Update feature makes it easy to get the latest security and feature updates to Firefox. Firefox automatically downloads these small updates in the background and prompts you when they are ready to be installed.
Tabbed Browsing
Use tabbed browsing to open multiple Web pages in a single browser window, and quickly flip back and forth. Drag and drop open tabs to keep related pages together.
Improved Pop-up Blocking
Firefox’s built-in pop-up blocker has been enhanced to block more unwanted pop-up and pop-under ads.
Integrated Search
Tap into the power of the Web’s most popular search engines with the built-in Search bar, and easily add new engines.
Stronger Security
Firefox keeps you more secure when you’re browsing the Web, closing the door on spyware, worms, and viruses. The Firefox community of developers and security experts works around the clock to monitor security issues and release updates to better protect you.
Clear Private Data
Protect your privacy with the new Clear Private Data tool. With a single click, you can delete all personal data, including browsing history, cookies, Web form entries and passwords.
Live Bookmarks
Stay up to date with your favorite Web sites and blogs. Use Live Bookmarks that update themselves automatically with the latest content from the Web.
Accessibility
Firefox 1.5 delivers easier navigation for everyone, including those who are visually or motor-impaired. Firefox is the first browser to support DHTML accessibility, which, when enabled by Web authors, allows rich Web applications to be read aloud. Users may navigate with keystrokes rather than mouse clicks, reducing the tabbing required to navigate documents such as spreadsheets. Firefox 1.5 (Windows version) is also the first browser to meet US federal government requirements that software be easily accessible to users with physical impairments.
Customize Firefox
Select new button controls for your toolbars, install extensions to add new features, or change the look of your browser with themes - the way Firefox looks and works is under your control.
Next Generation Web Support
Innovative new Web applications and services deliver a richer Web experience. Support for open Web standards in Firefox ensures you can get the most out of this emerging class of Web-based tools.

wot the deuce?

no relevance. In other news, 'Sadeness' is NOT a real word, being instead the title of the Enigma 4-track CD released under the name of 'Sadness' in the US. Interestingly. The song itself was based around the radical thought and sexual exploits of the Marquis De Sade.

The registration followed a press report of talks about a new Chrono series game. Within this report, Hironobu Sakaguchi mentioned that the team of Chrono Cross, especially Masato Kato, was interested in developing a new game in the series, and that script and story ideas were currently being considered. The project had not been greenlighted. While Squaresoft did not publish any official news, this registration led many in the video game community to believe that a sequel to the Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross was in full development. However, Masato Kato and others who worked on Chrono Cross—such as Yasuyuki Honne—meanwhile departed to work for Monolith Soft, and Squaresoft published no news concerning a sequel. On 2003-11-13, the trademark was dropped in the United States. Much to the dismay of all fans...

muwahahaha

Louisiana has the hardest working wetlands in America, a watery world of bayous, marshes, and barrier islands that either produces or transports more than a third of the nation's oil and a quarter of its natural gas, and ranks second only to Alaska in commercial fish landings. As wildlife habitat, it makes Florida's Everglades look like a petting zoo by comparison.

"Antidisestablishmentarianism" is the longest common example of a word formed by agglutinative construction, as follows:

establish
to set up, put in place, or institute (originally from the Latin stāre, to stand)

dis-establish
ending the established status of a body, in particular a church, given such status by law, such as the Church of England

disestablish-ment
the separation of church and state (specifically in this context it is the political movement of the 1860s in Britain)

anti-disestablishment
opposition to disestablishment

antidisestablishment-arian
an advocate of opposition to disestablishment (alternatively, but less likely and quite similar in meaning, "opposed to disestablishmentarians", depending on what "anti-" is taken to belong to)

antidisestablishmentarian-ism
the movement or ideology of advocates of opposition to disestablishment; the movement or ideology that opposes disestablishment

FLAPJACK RECIPE

Description
A simple to make oaty cake that is sweet, moist & chewy (or caramel flavoured, hard & crunchy).

Summary
Mix oats with melted margarine, golden syrup & sugar.
Bake.
Takes approximately: 5 min work, 25 min cooking, 60 min total.
Ingredients
Porridge (chopped rolled) oats 125 g
Rolled oats 125 g
Margarine 150 g
Golden syrup 75 g
Sugar 75 g

Equipment
Oven. Hob & saucepan (or microwave oven with microwaveable bowl). Knife, chopstick, wooden spoon or similar (to mix ingredients with). Pallet knife (to press into cake tin with). Scales & spoons (or just estimate). Square shallow baking tin about 20 cm sided. Greaseproof paper.

Detailed Instructions for Chewy Flapjack
Put the margarine, sugar & golden syrup in saucepan (or microwaveable bowl if using a microwave oven) and heat until it is all liquid.
Meanwhile line the baking tin with greaseproof paper.
Mix all the oats into the liquid.
Put the mixture into the baking tin & press flat.
Bake at 175 deg C (Gas Mark 4) for 25 to 30 minutes. Warning: the timing is tolerant but accuracy in temperature is critical.
