well i think the Regal Comes to Canada Thread would be alright just to.. remake or something because its informative or whatever... and yeah i agree on off topic... currently listening to, and some of the game threads like say something about the person above you..
the question ones though, i don't really care about but ok.

Checked over all requested...while a couple of them (Tentacles and Regal comes to Canada) had a bit of a hijack here and there, I allowed them. Only posts made after December 20th will be modded.

i still dont understand what the boundaries are on spam here.

whats allowed, whats not? we were given a 'i'll just smack anyone who displeases me', but thats not really fair when we dont know where the boundaries are.

i mean, i assume that me saying;

whenever i get stuck for words is now disallowed, but i dont KNOW, and i guess im entitled to say it on those grounds. so yeah.

Basically, stay on-topic. Spam however you like, but the talk within a topic should generally be related to the topic starter's post.

The tentacles thread is a legacy thread.

We do give a bit of leeway in terms of the rules, but we're gonna try to keep topic on-track, for the most part.

Notice how almost every topic is never the same after page 3?

yeah. and all the ones that stayed on-topic rotted away after two pages...

Did you hear about the community vote? I'd advise getting a case ready and letting everyone know how you feel about everything.

The way i see it on topic does make threads die very quickly after everyone's opinion has been said and there is not much left to talk about.
It seems to me that Spam is like small-talk, and you can't really stay on "topic" for 19 pages but not have posts that are like 1 word long or totally random. like if they were at least somehow related to the current conversation but by page 19 its not hte same as page 1 but there is logical flow from topic to topic, its like conversation. also that way it cuts down on the number of topics made if we can keep posting for pages and pages in one then we don't have to make a new one all the time or something.

and to be on topic here, because this is one of those "needs to be on topic" type threads:

I how about getting the Bonanza Rant thread back up? that one was not really spammy but was useful for him posting about his life etc...

maybe Hear Ye, Hear Ye - that one was just a good thread.. i can see your point if it doesn't make it but i decided to request anyway.

Random Picture thread - though maybe creating a new one would be better cus there was lots of non pictureness in that thread. - of course there is the thread just like it called Excess Art and pictures that is not even on page 2 yet.. maybe that one?

and also Captain Sneyface's Magical Game! cus that is a good game though it didn't work out quite so well.. i dunno, maybe we should make a new one of that game. it was not to bad when i made it on the old forum but this one kind of got weird associations.
