'Za' is japanese, yes. You must get the 'sa' sillable (is that right? sillable...) and add two small strokes to the top-right. That makes a 'za'. And tronsforms most of the 's-' sillables into 'z-' ones.

alright, I am the asian authority on this one, so I will break it down for you. The fresh off the boat asians pronounce it "Oh-Shee-G-jacks"... Then we'd look at the sig and think Walmart was a hellish place to shop. The regular asians like myself would simplify the language a bit and use slang and pronounce it OSH-KOSH. :lol

Acutally, in Japan, China, and Asia they use Conji. They have no letter of our alphabet. The spelling of Japaneese and such with our letters is what I've come to call "Japaneasy" for its easy pronunciation.

But back to emo stabing and cats wtih fire arms....
