if you want motivation to make a good game then watch what the masters have made. what ive seen on some of these videos just makes everything we have ever done look like utter sh*t.

Okay, seriously. What's the deal with all these Japanese RPGM1 games that have completely different music playing? Mark already said that there wasn't a music importer in RPGT3.

they where packaged with a music maker if im not mistaken. in one of the channels there is a few vids of the music makers. no importer but a music maker.

You'll have to point them out, as I'm quite limited in my video hunting capabilities at the moment.

Mark Johnson said that Ongaku Tsukuru (Music Maker) was not part of the RPG Tsukuru 3 package, which is why they could not release it here. It would have had to be licensed seperately, which would have cost more money. I doubt it would have sold well enough to justify it.

If you owned both, tracks made in Ongaku Tsukuru were able to be imported into RPG Tsukuru 3 (and 4).

I concur. Ongaku Tsukuru is a separate game, and the music you make there can be uploaded to RPGT3.

that explains it. so there was an add music to rpg maker like youd add a sprite? that would explain why there is so many japanese rpg maker 1 games with different music.

Oh, so it just was only a rumor that it included a music maker, not that it was possible to import music.
