With the sudden popularity of the Let's Play fad here at the Mag, I'm beginning to worry it may be downplaying the actual development of game projects. Does working on a LP keep you from working on your title? Please, discuss.

id let you know if lping produced a lag in my game development but since everything else is delaying my production then i can only assume that trying so would produce even more delays.

It can cause delay for your game, but only by the same amount everything else does. The way I see it, making an LP is about the same as just playing some random video game. Only difference is you're recording a commentary and uploading it to the net. Like everything else, you just gotta make sure to find the time to work on your game. The LPs could be something to do during your off time.

Well, I'm not working on a game, and I've also not uploaded a new LP video in about a week. So really it's more like everything is affecting my LP and any RM stuff.

An unnecessary worry, really. Besides, sometimes, creative stifling can happen, and maybe doing an LP and playing a game you haven't played in a while can spark an idea. But in the end, it's as Dray and myoky say.
