Location: Where am I?
I want to draw on the computer, so I download RPGC, and then I want to modify an existing sprite to make the process faster and easier, so I download one from this site. All's good so far, right? Except the sprite is in .GME format, so unless I upload it to the RPGMaker, I can't modify it!

So, anyone know how to convert .GME sprites to .bmp? Or better yet, anyone have sample character sheets on .bmp?

the first order of business is to set the pic in the first slot of the gme game file. the converter will not recognize any sprite outside of that first slot. second you will pop open the converter and hit bmp button thing and then you can save your bmp file. the process is very similar to when you want to do the reverse.

check out my forum, crystal shores, for a pile of sprites in bmp format. here is a direct link to one.
