Here im going to show you how to make a Turn based battle system for RPGM2, please note, if you have no experience
with variables, as well as system variables please check here for more help.

Ok beginning there are many easy ways to approach this, lets start with the dissection of the actual system:

1. Checks to see "Who goes first?" (I am using Doyleman's turn checker which you will see below.)
2. Aggressive or Passive enemies ( How often and how hard you want your enemies to attack).
3. How your actors attack (self explanatory, I would think =P)
4. Status effects, as well as party buffs (Rather simple if you think about it.)
5. Rewards for killing the enemies.

Now what we know to look for, I can go ahead and start breaking this piece by piece.

Script(s) checklist:
OrderCheck
Master Battle Script
P1 Turn
P2 Turn
P3 Turn
E1 Turn
E2 Turn
E3 Turn
P1 Attack E1 (repeat till E3)
P2 Attack E1 (repeat till E3)
P3 Attack E1 (repeat till E3)
E1 Attack P1 (repeat till P3)
E2 Attack P1 (repeat till P3)
E3 Attack P1 (repeat till P3)
Victory/Loss (checks to see whos dead, and if to show victory or loss)
Target Check (see who and can be attacked at the time)
Slime AI
Treant AI
Fairy AI (These are just graphics I used to represent E1-E3)

I will update this post accordingly, instead of having tons of posts all cluttered. Please post feedback of what you think, or what you would possibly like added.

What would this turn-based system do? Would it allow you to use it outside of the in-game battle system or something?

Its a completely custom battle system, pretty much the default system but you see your character models, and can do more with the display for
everything instead of just text boxes.
