i always wanted to play this game but ive never given it the time - until today.

i must say i enjoyed the introductory story on how the bunny got to be a star of a game (and that the whole thing was based off a real comic is pretty swell too). the whole game concept was like one big acid trip *cough*

dave did a good job as usual with the graphics and in creating something that is truly different then the rpgs that the software is famous for. to play something not designed to be an epic good vs bad was a nice change.

the game play itself was smooth and fun. the system didnt penalize you for dieing too harshly and the battles where easy enough. i managed to find everything in the first levels, even after a few deaths from the games evil mystery boxes. there where tons of interesting ideas for levels and graphics used to facilitate the theme where well arranged.

the tutorial was excellent - so many games lack a straightforward explanation of how to play the game that its worth commenting on. we dont need to know how to attack monsters or anything else thats rpg maker related, we need to know stuff that isnt in every rpg maker game, like the jump system in this game, or class systems and blacksmithing in other games.

the only problem i encountered was a fairly major bug at the first boss where i hit a mystery block and i attacked the boss yet the game froze there. i couldnt access my inventory or move or do anything. it was like it was a continuous loop of wait. so avoid the first box on the left hand side, it will crash your game.

i strongly recommend any of mr. carters games, hes one of the few designers to consistently produce blockbuster games early in his career. any designer worth his salt should check out the top scoring games, those games are the bar to which all other games are measured.

There is a version of FuFu I really wanted to play but never got to. I saw the screenshots. Ask Nixon if you want to know.

My only problem with the game (aside from that game-breaking glitch) are the bad blocks. There's really no way to tell which blocks you shouldn't hit, so you're forced to eventually lose a life the first attempt so you can get through without hitting them the second attempt.

i didnt like that aspect either, no real strategy except to die and i did that in my first attempt since i wanted to get everything. i liked how you got to keep the rare stuff you collected, so unlocking bunnies and dave icons where yours when you got them (as was anything you collected i think).

i wonder what dave has cooked up for a special fu fu the acid bunny, probably something lewd.

Ermm....Karr...the gentleman's name is Dave Carter, not Dave Cutter, as you mention in your "review."
