I found a problem that needs a resolution.

My custom menu allows the player to pick different modes to play. The main mode is the League Mode(Monster Football). You enter it blah blah blah. You talk to this person and he says things and walks away to allow the player to continue(switch on). In the same room is an object that allows the player to return to the menu.

Here's the problem.

Once at the menu, if you decide to return to League Mode you'll find the person who was talking standing in the way of the player's path again but with the switch on. I need this event to STAY in the same place after the switch is on regardless if the player leaves to the menu and comes back.

Any suggestions?

once you leave a room the place is reset, so any movement automaticly returns to the same location. the two ways to ensure that he is at a new spot is to have an intro event where it moves the event to the desired location every time the player enters the dongeon, or to have the event disapear and locked and a new event activated in the correct location.

Actually, what I would do is this.

Which ever switch is turned on, put another page on the guy that's in your way. And in the conditions, use that switch and make sure that page doesn't have an event graphic.

Though if you leave the menu completely and come back, you may need to make an intro event to turn off the switches that were turned on durring the last time a player was using the menu... that would also get that event to get out of your way.
