I've checked out the ne AR Max drive EVO. I plan on picking it up. In the meantime, I was wondering if ANY flash drive will work?

I have a memory card, and have a USB drive (see, it's built into my camera). Can I put it on there, and transfer it to my PS2? or do you have to have a flash drive(like the Max) specially formatted to work with PS2?

And also, for people like me who plan on getting Max drive: does it mean we can only download games from people who posted using Max drive? or will we be able to download ANY game(regardless of how the creator posted it)?

Sorry for the gobbledy gook. But I'm a bit confused on this topic.

Thanks in advance.

You can use any flash drive. I believe OD uses and MP3 player flash drive. I just use a regular usb stick, it works. :)

Holy cool beans(beans that are kept cold) Fayorei! That's sweet, and I just tried it but couldn't get it to work

I tried it with the demo game on RPGMM(shoot whats it called? not quite a fantasy? somethin. you know what I mean:) ) and it didn't work.

I plugged it into the USB on the playstation, took out the disc(so the ps2 didn't have any game in it), and started it back up. I thought if I went into the PS2 browser, I'd find it, but it wasn't there.

Anyone know how I can do this??

Well, it is a .max, but you must uncrush the files to memory card one.

Or else they're unplayable.

Insert usb, insert mem card with free space.

Insert CD.

Memory manager->select USB as device->check both saves->go down to uncrush, and select it to be uncrushed to memory card 1.

Load it up on RPGM3.

You can use any USB flash drive but you need the Max Drive software. The PS2 can't recognize the drive on its own.
