do you think the community would have a stomach for games based on traditional RPG concepts? like call of cthulhu, white wolfs world of darkness or even standard fantasy fare(no not AD&D)? looking for a little something to get my feet wet with RPGM1 again and i have an idea for one somewhat like a medieval call of cthulhu campaign. only thing is iod's gonna be hard to sprite properly...

Honestly I think the community has the stomach for any type of game. Granted something that's not over the top offensive or anything like that. In my experience here, everyone seems to be pretty open to anything, so I don't think you should worry about it. Make whatever game you want to make.

Yusuke is actually right on the money. Seeing as we all make RPGs and want people to play them, we are quite open to play everyone else's game as well. Even games like "Watch Grass Grow"...

Agreed.

I also think it is good to get your feet wet. Although I haven't posted it, I have completed a game and by actually doing that I have all the confidence and a lot more knowledge to do 'original' 'masterpieces' later.
