Hi, I am new to the RPG maker series, just wondering if any one can give me some instruction(RPGM3) how to create NPC characters(not monsters) and turn them into enemies of the hero character? and it is possible to add them into the monster party? The reason I want to do this is because in my story(have been wriiten this story for at least 2 years) there are very few monsters encounter, most of them are human Mongolian soldiers or human bosses. Please help! Very much appreciate.

Under control is a command for Battles. There is also one for Character Battles. That is the one you want.

Nope.

Battles are either vs Monsters or NPCs, not a mix of both.

And my stories use very few humans. Even my main characters are animals.

I hate people

Welcome to the Boards.

Peace.

Thanks for the reply, Rodak. I have another few questions if you don't mind,
1. Is there anyway to test the battle between your hero & NPC characters?
2. Can the NPC enemies group into a party?
3. Where can i place them?

Yes, but you must get to the battle in playtest (or play) modes. There is no button where you just test out the battle, you have to come to the point in the game where the battle is set to occur.

Yes, whenever you set the 'character battle' event code it will ask you to select previously made characters to fill up to (I believe) 4 slots. So you can have a party.

You have to use the event key that rodak told you about. This means that you have to set an event somewhere to trigger the battle. So if you've got a conversation plotted out and at the end of that conversation there is to be a battle, use the event key for 'character battles'. Or it could be in an invisible event, or anything that has event slots. Just so long as something triggers it a battle will occur.

Also, if you wanted, you could have multiples of the same person in one battle.

Keep in mind though, that if you want to fight a character, you have to give them set them up like you would with the main characters, with classes, levels, stats, and all that.
