I want my character to only be able to use a certain ability after a cut-scene, but it makes him have it at the start of the game. I tried that thing where you uncheck the abilities mastered but it didn't work. Any advise?

Is the ability set to be learned at Level One?

If so, raise it.

If that is a problem (ie; he may learn it before the scene by levelling up) you could set an auto event in the opening map of the game making him forget the skill.

It depends on your preferences.

I hope that helped.

Peace.
