All questions are for RPG maker 3

1)Can you make a viechile on RPG maker 3?
2)Can you add sound effects?
3)Can you make your own class/Type?
4)Is it possible to edit in-full depth, the monsters and charcters?
5)Can you play as a monster?
6)Can someone list all the weapons you can get?
7)Can you add diolog when your charcter is on the field?(Not in battle)

1. Nope, not in this one I am afraid. There are "launchpads" that just warp you to a location.

2. Yeap, lots of them.

3. Yeap, you can make classes.

4. Now that is a bit tricky to explain. You can edit all stats and classes and stuff like that. But as far as graphically, well just 4 colors, and not much else.

5. Nope, but there is a wolfman, birdman, lizardman, frog and treeman that could be monsters that you can play as.

6. A lot of weapons. There is a list of them on this site and at the pavilion.

7. Yeap, you can have dialogue anywhere. Portraits and all. You can have storytellers happening on the field map too.

8 ) A list.

Two kinds of robot. They kinda look like old droids. One has feet and laser-hands, the other is on wheels and has shovel-hands.

Three types of otherworld beings. One a god, which is a guy with a beard and circlet (one of those ring-crowns). Goddess, again with a circlet. And angel, which would be a lower-class being I suppose. All three wear togas and have halos floating over their heads. None have wings.

Demon with wings. It wears a toga and bracelets by default, but you can alter the colors to make it look like he's wearing a t-shirt and jeans if you wanted. Actually, you can alter the colors of the game's models to this extent in almost all cases.

Fairy, wearing a dress.

Death, with a scythe.

Spirit, or ghost.

Fiend, which is a guy with a big jacket and a horn on his forehead.

Crusader, a dark knight.

Pharaoh, not technically a monster, but he's included in the monster section of the list.

Count. Yup, a vampire.

Mummy

Skeleton

Treant, which is a log with hands and feet.

Guardian, a girl with small wings.

Mermaid. Bra optional, but it doesn't matter too much as she isn't defined enough for porn.

Wolf Man. Default, he's dressed like townsfolk, but of course you can make him wearing just pants.

Bird Boy, again, dressed like townsfolk. He's the same size as the wolf man, so don't let the "boy" part fool you.

Dragon young, which is a simple dragon with wings, clawed feet, and a couple long horns. This is one of those where you can't really change his look with colors; his skin is mostly one color save for his belly. He's the same size as regular people, though you could change his size if you wanted.

Dragon mature, a much bigger dragon that can't stand straight up like the younger version. Wings are more developed.

Squid. Um, kinda like Mario Bros. Bloopers.

Sea turtle, lookind something like Kappa from Animal Crossing.

Slime, a la Dragon Warrior, minus the smile.

Boss A, some big guy with horns. Essentially a sorcerer.

Boss B, a demon wearing armor, the helmet having horns.

And for the heck of it, the animals are dog, cat, pig, sheep, horse, camel, bird (always flying), chicken, penguin, ostrich, and turtle.

There are also two objects that can be used as characters, a vase and a coffin.

9) The game was created to appeal to Dragon Warrior fans. A lot of the default stuff play or look like they came straight from a Dragon Warrior game. But of course, you can do things differently if you wanted. Only thing you're stuck with are the characters, though you can always stretch them taller if you wanted them to look kinda more realistic.

10) Well, the obvious choices (from the RPGM2 guide) are the horse, a blue sports car, an army-type cargo truck, a raft (with sail), a small boat, a ship, a submarine (er, no going underwater unless you're willing to go through the work to do so), a magic carpet, a cloud (like the Nimbus Cloud in Dragon Ball/Z, an airship, and a hot air balloon. The vehicles can be used as land transport, hovering over land transport (which doesn't seem to be much different than the land transport), water transport, and air transport.

Really though, you can use anything RPGM2 provides as transportation. Go ahead and fly on that fancy bed if you wanted.:)

Techincally, you can actually make about just anything you can think of, as long as you put a lot of work into getting the pieces to look right.

11. No you can't

12. the vehicles are just for show you can't actually see inside the car unless you make a way yo do that. Think of ff7 and the hover car.

13. You can make your own maps or choose some sample ones. Making a racing game takes alot of work.

1. Not for rpg maker 2 and 3 just only for the first rpg maker for the ps1. And you would need a DexDrive.

2. For rpg maker 2 yes.

3. 3 games on the 8mb memory card and 6 on the 16 mb memory card. You can also make the games how long as you want.

4. It is a perfect idea.

Pardon my never having played a Zelda game, but I'm able to do a few tricks with RPGM2.

So, when you say "stuff" I am not sure what you mean. You will not be able to reproduce it 100%, but I hear people have come pretty close. But what "stuff" do you mean?

I may be able to help.

Peace.

Okay, I am WAY late on answering this, but there is no default monkey. However one similar-looking to RPGM1's can be made simply by recoloring the Baby model and adding a Boomerang effect on it for the tail.

The first is scenery. It has an action of the center piece bobbing up and down, but it doesn't serve any real purpose besides scenery, unless you decide to create one for it. The second two were nifty uses for the building editor. They are two different kinds of airships made as buildings. Potentially you could use these as your own airships, though it would take more work than if you used one of the default objects. Without doing anything special with them, they're simple buildings; again, scenery.

It's RPG Maker, but by no means does this mean you can only create RPGs on it. A Zelda game is entirely possible. You won't be able to recreate something like Ocarina of Time, but you can create something pretty similar. As for complely different genres, I'm creating a Banjo-Kazooie clone (a sequel to a B-K clone I created on RPGM1), there's a few puzzle games of various types out there, there's one mini-golf game, and at least one platformer (though you're not going to create the next Mario with this thing, what with the enforced tile movement).

Thanks Draygone, for answering that. My inexperience with, and ignorance of, many games keeps me out of too many of these conversations.

I too often am completely lost by such statements. BDAKIDGAMES; ya gots to treat me like a dummy when discussing other commercial games. I have played so few that I count as a dummy in that department.

If you have questions about how to do specific things (like how to script / create a VFX sword for your character or how to make enemies know when to attack), please feel free to ask. I can give much more help if I understand the concept.

Good Luck with it.

Peace
