This will be the last time that I update this game, as I think there are now no bugs remaining. Countless times I have said this before, but I really took my time and attempted to break everything. If there are any bugs left, I am sorry. However, I am sure it will be an enjoyable game nonetheless.

The sequel is in the works and progressing at a slow pace.

Below is the description of this version, and I have included previous updates to the game for contrast.

DEFENDERS OF LIGHT - BUG FREE - (RPG MAKER – PLAYSTATION) (c) 2003 - 2014

The Evil Sorcerer Mortat has stolen the Light Of The Three Worlds!
5 Defenders Of Light must reclaim the Light Of The Three Worlds.
Defeat Mortat and restore The Three Worlds!

(Previously "EASY / FINAL / UNLOCKED / COMPLETE" version, allowing battles to be turned off and making certain other things easier in the game.)

Updates to this version include:

+ Elaborated instructions (more objects/items explained)
+ Ability Shield for each character now used to indicate all ability usage
+ Minor Ability correction / modification (all abilities use X to activate)
+ Magic use correction (one use corrected for Pancho at Techno Tank A.I.)
+ Warp Statue FX improved
+ Save spots modified (immediate access to save; may be fewer save spots in areas)
+ Text modifications to be more character and situation specific
+ Should (hopefully) contain no bugs; if not, I may learn to live with it one day

Defenders Of Light: Complete - Updated Version

Updates to this version include:

+ Bug removal patch!
+ Redesigned Character Shields (Ability Symbols)!
+ Improved Final Ending Screenshots!

Defenders Of Light: Complete - 10th Anniversary Edition

Updates to this version include:

+ Context continuity corrections (such as changing “light” to “Light).
+ Battle player gets HIT action added (now you can tell you have actually been hit), and “Low Health” indicator (now you can tell when you are about to die).
+ Ability and Magic details in the Ability Submenu.
+ “True Ending” can now be viewed properly, no mysterious black screen with sounds.
+ Save Spot added to Bonusland (now you can save in the Bonusland, after defeating Mortat and watching all the endings). Makes it more easily replayed.
+ Level Doors now remind you how many Lights you needed to open them, and make a different, “successful” sound before opening. Making it easier to track your progress.
+ Boss Names added, since there were none before.
+ More additions to the Instructions, giving more useful information.
+ Bonusland abilities can now be used no matter which side you activate them from.
+ Ability Dude makes more FX when you talk to him, does flashier SFX when you gain an ability, and knows if you are a “Dude” or a “Dudette”.
+ More FX and animation for when you rescue a Defender Of Light.
+ Updated sprites, title screen, ability indicators, in-game animations, level design and text.

Defenders Of Light: Final

Updates to this version include:

+ Spelling corrections
+ Light tracking in L/I/A (items) menu, so you know how many have been collected in an area
+ Addition of a much needed Character Select Spot at the beginning of Towerland
+ Removal of the excessive BLUE BLOCK on Shion Prime that blocked the way to Towerland (there were two on Shion Prime, when there only should have been one)
+ Ensuring the player does not get trapped on bosses
