ok godd news is I have to do now is peice the new dungeons together and put in the events, then get back with my friend to see if he wants to make the dungeon smaller or if it is fine like it is. in october we will begin working on coding the endings as i have most of the paperwork done excpet for on 1 of them. so if all goes well when we get back from our trip give a take a few days things should be ready for spellchecking then ready for you all to play, and contest players to start the contest.
we will keep you posted as things get closer,but since i had a day off today i stayed up late and got alot done hence all i have to do is peice together the dungeon, put xtra town events in the new town to give it more fluff then we are done except for the endings. saturday night i will work on the dungeon(s). being i don't work sunday.

ok, we ran into a slight hitch :cry , just getting some advice as we speak. It is not a big one, and it will only detour us till we have an answer as the problem is minor, and that is a good thing. ok after the tiny problem is fixed, we are happy to say that we will take a breather from coding and go to the writing to fetch out the ending(s). :D My friend said he has 1 more dungeon and 1 town up his sleave before we do the writing :o ,but he is not certain till i get down their on october 8th to show him what I have coded from our script, since the last time we were together. We are adding our stuff to the game, and I now have the data back, and I am coding the data as we speak. Like I said everything we did works great, I am just connecting the dots. And once the simple hitch has been settled, we will proceed over the hill, and continue working on the game. I can honestly say that once hitch has been gotten over. I can continue work on my last dungeon code, and put in the xtras in this one town. And then on oct 8th after my firend playtests through game, he will decide whether or not another dungeon or not is needed, as well as a new town. With us it is all about flow, and balance, but most of all if we are not happy with it, and my fiance doesn't like it, then odds are it will be cut out or not added. I trust myself, my friend and my fiance to be able to have a game we can say we are proud of. And until we are happy with the end result it won't see a greenlight. We can honestly assure you game is right around the corner. with me pulling all nighters on my days off, and us going to see my friend, only possible way for a delay is me getting sick. And i do my best not to let that happen. I am so anxious to start working on our ending(s) together once we go to see my friend. Thanks to all with your patience. we hope that we will all see you soon with messages in our private mailbox here with your comments, contest entries, and of course your welcome to post your comments here about what you think of our progress so far here as well. So get those blank memory cards ready, get your dex drives plugged in, get your daily fix of caffiene, do some hand excercises, and just wait for the announcement on here that our game is ready and just click the game file. well see fill you in on our next update to let you know the progress of the hitch we ran into, and fill you in if it will cause a delay or not in the release time. thanks for you time. extimated release date november 22 of this year

currently playtesting the new areas, and hopefully tonight or within the next couple of days putting in the last dungeon codes, and putting in the ending(s). so far a few spelling errors have turned up,but nothing too major just yet. we will keep you posted over the next couple of days.

ok, we coded the last bit of the game, and i am now programming in the ending(s), and my friend is in the process of putting together some ideas.
And I am trying to piece together an idea we brainstormed together on vacation. So once they ideas merge together,and the pieces fit we will have the ending(s) done real soon. Then it is off to the final playtest and spellcheck. I put in 9 solid hours over the last few days. We hope you enjoy the final product when done. and soon after the contest starts, we will make anouncements about the continuation of this
serial game.

This is one game I've been looking forward to. It has a solid, unusual premise that should translate well into an engaging experience.

thanks for the compliment. It has been rough getting the game done. majority of the ending(s) are done, Id say we have rouly 30 percent left to do before the final playtest and spell check. right now we send val hal guidelines so he can have his cameo in our game, and my friend is working on the part that leads up to val hals scene. As you know or don't know the game has multiple endings. currently has 4. 2 are nearly done, and the other 2 are in the works. we sketeched out what each one
entails, and are doing our best to give you all some enjoyable
content.

we just finished 1 of the endings. I am now wrapping up 2nd one. the others are in the process of being thought out and planned before programming. once we get through the thoght process we will once again update you. Thanks for your patience on our project.

we just finished the second ending, and working on the last one(s). Just so you know what ending you get, the ending will be diplayed just before the ending starts. Ie ending 1 : party time.
not the ending name,but just wanted to give you an idea. We still are not too sure how many endings are gonna be in the game,but there are more than 3. well that about does it for this update,but we are really hoping to put the final pieces done soon so you all can play the finished product.

well my fiance got me a camera for christmas and gave it to me early. so i decided to take some vids of our game a work in progress. it is just some random video clips, and i will be doing a few of them to kinda show off some of the gameplay, and some scenes from the game. Mind you they are random, and if you just want to see what is in store before the final project is out then by all means take a look. there may be some minor spoilers in the clips,but by no means will be post videos that
deal with the plot of the story. so go ahead and watch the clips as they are posted. I hope that these video clips wets your whistles till the game is finally out. ON another note my friend got sick so we are doing our best to finish the endings. we have not much to go,but with him being sick, he will not be able to work on his part of the game. We appologize for this inconvienience, and we are going to try to get this game done before christmas. He wanted me to just finish the game without his stuf and then re-realease it later,but it wouldn't be the same without his stuff in the game. so I opted to give him time to get better and finish his stuff even if it puts us behind schedule. once youtube aproves of our videos they will be under the these titles A work in progress rpg part1 A work in progress rpg part2 etc. thanks for your time.

a work in progress is going well. we are doing our very best to get it done before christmas,but we not gonna rush job the game as we are trying to bring a quality game. my friend wrote 1 part of his ending, and I am programming it in while he is writing the next part. I must tell you that this ending is hillarious. now our endings are a bit different than other game endings where you just sit and watch stuff. our endings are interactive. Each ending we are making not sure how many there will be,but deffinatelly more than 2. I redid our endings, and my friend is
writing his epic ending. As I was saying each ending has a different feel,at least that is what we are trying to do. well hope you enjoy the finished project, we are happy with it so far.

Well, as far as adding content, dragonproductions and I have come to an agreement were I can completely design one of the alternate endings. However the ending starts, I'm leaving that up to dragonproductions. But the ending is based on a war theme, where spazz must inflitrate the evil Bunny corporation to obtain a golden KFC chicken wing. I've been throwing around some abstract ideas and it's come together really well.

The ending is actually going to be really, really short, so I'm about 30 % done at this point, having finished scenarios and cleaned them up for bugs. Next is the great duel between Spazz and a Bunny! Very exciting (if not completely strange).

Well, it's rather difficult to stay on task these days (I just bought Arc the Lad collection and have another hotly anticipated game on the way), so as you can see I really want to be spending my time doing other things. However, I still have an obligation to finish what I started, and I plan on doing so.

Yesterday I worked out the transition to another scene, and spent the rest of that session working on the intro to a new character. It was pretty big, and took a bit of effort. I hope to complete more of the intro and get to the grand final battle pretty soon. There's not a whole lot left to the ending, I just have to do it, since I have most of it planned.

Hopefully I'll have it all done by the time my new game arrives in the mail. If not, there may be a rather large delay.

Wow that ending sounds very abstract....
I like it.

I like what I have played so far and I also like the custom enemy graphics. Very...detailed? Anyway, sounds like progress is being made and I hope the game continues to progress.
