I'm pretty new to the RPGM scene (I bought RPGM1 and 2 on eBay about a month ago), and I was wondering if it was possible to transfer saves from one game to the next in a series, like .Hack and Xenosaga.

The reason I'm so curious is because I probably won't have much time to put out larger games since I'm going back to school in a few months, but I'd like to keep feeding my friends more of my story. When it's all over, I'd consider doing a collection that spans the entire series, but like I said, I'd like to keep putting out smaller releases every month or two.

Thank you for any help or tips you may have for me.

RPGM1, yes. RPGM2, almost impossible.

With RPGM1, you'll want to have each game named the same, and the scenario card of the first entry named the same as the scenario card of the last entry.
i.e. The game series is called "Epic Saga". The first game's title you'll call "Epic Saga", the second you'll call "Epic Saga". The first game ends on the Scenario Card named "OMG Cliffhanger", the second game starts on the Scenario Card "OMG Cliffhanger".

With RPGM2, you'll want to have each game named the same in the same save slot, and saved at the exact same time (according to the PS2's internal clock). Like I said, almost impossible.

awesome... I'll be sure to implement that. LOL. Thanks for your help, though. I might just have them get a code at the end of each game and input it at the start of the next so at least levels and gold can carry over. Thanks again.
