Um...yes.

Plop a treasure event, or make your own. Not exactly hard to do.

If you want to make your own, then just use the chest graphic, do play animation, then add inventory, and type message of what you got, then change mode to mode 2, that is blank.

And there you have it.

Wow...

I thought there was no animation for "event" treasure chests.

Did you find a way to do this?

Is it really just that command?

I'd check it but am too lazy (or too industrious) to stop work on my VFX Guide for RPGM2.

Peace.

It's simple really:

If the item has an animation you use the event play animation and select which animation. But it can only play the animation for the object your are setting the event to.

I gotsta look inta dat.

I thought that only the chests placed as chests had animations and the events using the chest model were static.

I must have been properly intoxicated to miss that when I first checked all those months ago...

After The Guide..

After The Guide.

Peace.

Wll there are two types of chests:

1. is the type of chest that has already been programmed to do it's job and isn't malleable to new events. These already use the animations

2. is a chest that has the 50 event capacity and is changeable. These you have to put the animation command in.

I think I never tried, or tried and failed early on but registered it as a game limitation (not my own oversight).

There were so many let downs and limitations early on that I did almost just give up on 3. So if I blamed it for my oversight... well let's just say I can see me doing that.

Peace.
