Even for a spam forum, that is not acceptable. Anybody remember back when I made a thread on the old boards about this? One word posts, ellipses etcetcetc... yeah. THAT STUFF IS STILL TRUE.

That is completely unacceptable. IT IS THE CHAT FORUM. It says "NO SPAM" clearly right on it.

In either forum, that specific type of spam is completely prohibited. Either contribute meaningfully or don't post at all.

I will hand out warnings for any further worthless posting sprees.

By worthless posting sprees, I mean making lots of posts that don't actually contribute anything at all. The above quotes are perfect examples of such posts. The posting sprees from the other day are acceptable as they actually spark some kind of discussion and keep it moving.
