When I was younger, I loved snow. Nowadays, I'm still fascinated by it, but I hate being cold now.

Does it snow around your area?

in Liverpool, not for, oh... the last, say *thinks*

it snowed last year while i was away. before then, not for about 10 years or something.

its on the coast.

i totally wish it would, though. wtf is the point in being bitterly cold if you can't throw snow at people?

I love snow, but we haven't gotten any snow this winter which is very odd because we usually get large snow storms.

Aside from the icestorm that did this:

We haven't really had any snow or ice since the start of December.

I really don't like the ice, but I do like snow. And while I'm not too keen on the bitter cold, the feeling of stepping out of the cold and into a nice warm house (or car) is pretty nice. Sorta like the feeling of stepping out of the hot sun and into an air-conditioned house during the summer, but without the sweat.

I like fresh-fallen snow outside when I'm inside. As far as dirty snow on walkways and icy snow on streets, forget it.

For Ixz and I, it hasn't snowed around here at all, and we've had temperatures in the 50's and sometimes, 60's. I think we're messing up our ozone somehow.

It happens when you live in Virginia.

I used to see snow, but living near the gulf doesn't allow it. As far as liking it, not really. I find body fluids more fascinating.

two definitions of snow

snow - Frozen precipitation in the form of white or translucent hexagonal ice crystals that fall in soft, white flakes.
snow - is pure cocaine

We don't have snow here in Indonesia, the most mainly reason is because it's the tropics. And we only have to seasons Summer and the rainy seasons.

But i really like to experience snow if i ever had a chance to go to the US at the holidays.

You live in the tropics? clucking lucky. I'd love to live out there sometime. Do you even know what cold is, when temperatures go as low as in single digits?

Oh well. I'm sure living there has it's own problems. Like sharks and coconuts :lol

dude... real coconuts can get really big... one of those things falls out of a tree onto your head you can get crushed! (at least this is my perception of things i've never seen in places i've never been going on what i've sort of heard. lol.) either way if something falls on your head out of a tallish tree it would hurt.

... >_>

Quote:
Still, there have been instances of coconuts falling from palms and injuring people, and claims of some fatalities. This was the subject of a paper published in 1984 that won the Ig Nobel Prize in 2001. Falling coconut deaths are often used as a comparison to shark attacks, making the claim that it is more likely to be killed by a falling coconut than by a shark.

so says Wiki, anyway.

omg O_O
