Personally I find it a worthy enough cause to post in chat - hope I'm not wrong. I find a lot of things "worthy causes". I know it all seems so .. how do you say... beaten to death with a stick.. there being a million organizations for helping starving children in africa but for us here its all kind of hazy and it look bad but its all on tv. Everything is different when it is happening to people you don't know. For instance we hear stories about kids dissapearing and being found three weeks later in a ditch but its all on tv or in the papers. There was this kid though in my Chem class last year named Munny Sidhu - I never talked to him I didn't know him he was just some grade 11 loud mouth kid though i gotta say he had talent (rap), either way the point is that he has been missing for a week, and from what the paper says it seems pretty likely he is dead and will be found in a ditch before the end of the month. Its weird though to think this kid will be gone, its different when you have seen them in real life- even though i never talked to him i kind of knew who he was so its different. i actually feel bad that he is gone. Same with all these kids all over the globe (stupid globe) starving to death with no education no prospects for their life to get any better, im like gee that really sucks but how bad can you feel when they arn't even real, they are just people on tv. its different when you don't know them, havn't seem them face to face. it doesn't make it any less real for them though. We're just so sheltered over here, that over there doesn't even seem real.
