I'm not quite sure that a peace can be had unless the people over there start compromising. The problem is that everyone thinks they're right, and the other guys are wrong. On top of that, they use one religious book and then interpret it for themselves and call it the one true way.

Of course, I could be wrong about that. I won't pretend to know.

I have had the answer to Middle East Peace for years.

But it ain't popular.

Just uproot the whole UN Building and plop it down in Jerusalem.

Call it International Territory, have all member Nations required to donate troops to secure the area, Impose Martial Law, and let anyone visit any site at any time... but KILL those caught perpetrating violence.

And their families.

I'm sick to death of Americans claiming that The UN needs Reform because it doesn't serve US Interests.

Contrary to the song, We are Not The World!

Most Americans think that the trouble with the UN is that there are too many foreigners! "They're what did in The League of Nations, ya know!"

Fine.

Get 'em outta our Country then.

Maybe we can just let them go, too. We don't have to belong.

But if we ever allowed Democracy to rule in The UN (Popular Votes deciding policy) we'd be tossed out anyhow!

Move the whole thing to The Holy Land!

This suggestion may just bring about

Peace.

I think peace will happen when Bush is gone.
Now this isn't merely a glittering generalization of the horrors of the bush reign, I just think if we can get Bush out and a man (woman?) who isn't a puppet in we can end it. So long as that man or woman isn't a redneck.

Being a redneck is a prerequisite for the office!
