Just going through the site, I've noticed alot of people avvies and banners... most of which look really awsome. I want to see who will give their secrets away. Ya know, what programs you use or trick of the trade of image editing. Here's an older one of mine for my game that's still in progress.



That's just a little work in Photoshop 7.0 and good old MS Paint.
Transfering between the two makes jpegs a little blurry... but hey, it's not the worst thing I've seen.

I use photoshop cs, it fits my needs for now.

That's cool. What about you, Ix. And you too Lone. How about sharing a few words of wisdom to those who wish to render a jpeg worthy of being called freakin aswsome.

i have ps7 and psC2. they both satisfy me

Ever heard of Colin Smith? That dude has a bit of extra time. But it pays off apparently. I've got three of this DVDs and it quite amazing how you can go about doing things. You should see the prosedure he takes to make a realistic looking bolt of lightning!

I did look it up before using it and was pleased with the dictionary definition (Websters 7th Collegiate).

I just got a "Development Studio," or "Forum" as they are called at Doan's site. That's why Hulk made Puny Banner in the first place.

I was thinking of making the banner link to the forum, but getting a studio here is not out of the question...

Yes,Rodak, your MS abilites rock (and you avvie kinda of scares me). I use Photoshop as well as paint. In the banner for my game, I used PH for the plannet and the text overlaying it as well as that shiny star thing over there (My avvie is Photoshop too). The rest is totally MS paint.




(I freakin hate the way the thumbnail looks... sniff, and the background I chose matched the background of the forums to blend perfectly, but now when you look at it when you click on it.... it doesn't match!)
