Actually, there were mistakes involved, the love itself wasn't anything like a mistake.

Emotions aren't right or wrong, they just are.
The way you love, the way you manage your love, can be a mistake, but not the love itself.

Reguardless. If I had the choice to never fall in love to save myself the heartache of the result... I would have never wanted too in the first place.

And if you regret something enough, it is... in fact a mistake.

Love is never a mistake. Perhaps the decisions you make while you're in love are, but never love itself.

Yes, I've made many mistakes as well in my life, ones that I'm too embarrassed to even mention. But, if you have a life with no mistakes, you can never grow and become a better, stronger person.

I'll say that I have made one mistake with a girl, and if it weren't for that, I wouldn't have become the kind of person that I am today. So, that was a lucky turn on my part.

and yeah, NLY, while im inclined to disagree with Lantis, since what we're debating is opinion rather than fact, i kinda think he's entitled to his opinion... ^^ though i know you know that already. which means im wasting my energy on this keyboard. but hell, why not? its not like i've got anything better to do.

Well, there comes a point when holding an opinion means omitting a few facts.

Meh, though, as I said, I'm leaving him with his views.
After all, few things in the world feel better than being jaded.

I'm another one who belives that love is not a mistake. What you do while ytou are in love is another matter.
But I also think that everything happens for a reason. You learn from your mistakes, and those experiences mold your character.



And there's that too. In part I regret waiting years before deciding to study something that I REALLY like, but I met so many wonderful people along the way, than I'm glad I did wait that much.

There isn't anything negetive about love in general. The feeling of love? Wonderful.

But what I'm getting at is that the relationships that are ruined because of whatever reason could do more damage than what good the "love" from the relationship brought.

And maybe you are right, Ix. Maybe I wouldn't be who I am today based on the way things played out. But that doesn't mean for the better. No one will know if it would be for better or not. You can just kind of guess.

But maybe I was a little out of line just bashing love. But my views stay in tact.

Having sex on a golf corse in the middle of the night. Then the sprinklers came on..

Having sex in the back seat of the car. Then a cop comes nocking on the window.

Having sex in the woods and getting poison ivy.

Pushing the wrong button on an elevator and woundering why I'm on the wrong floor.

Dropped a pice of popcorn on my shrit looking at the tv. Then picked up a pice of lint and put it in my mouth.

Sprayed alcohol based body spray on my croch. (burned)

Used perfume for mouth wash. (yuck)

Sprinkled "gold bond" powder on my croch. (burned)

My terrible mistake was being a general jackass a few years ago. I was a mean guy. I even had some terrible, bottomless pit hate towards mental people. Eek, I'm scared of what I used to be.

Then again, I've learned from this, and am far more personal and open than ever before. And no, I don't hate mental illness people. I learned they are like everyone lese.

Let's see...If i remember correctly it was Elementary School.I lost a friend because i poured cold milk all over my friend and she just been totally mad!!And still my enemy.I just do it for jokes really.It was Elementary School, i didn't know better.

Translating this phrase "Puppet Ministry" - a thing at my church where kids put on shows with puppets as "The Ministry of the Desks." I translated puppets as "pupitres" instead of "titeres." "Pupitres" in Spanish means desks. After the service all of the Spanish speakers were wondering what the "Desk Ministry" was.

1ce, in all seriousness, just in case you still fret over the way you might have used to be years ago, remember that at the very least you regret it. After all, there are probably very few "mean" people out there in the world that would want to change themselves for the better.

And, in response to everyone's many posts above concerning relationships and stuff, I must make known here my one true belief that there is never anything to regret about falling in love!

I suppose I should be a team player and admit to my biggest mistake, too. ... My having thought that Resident Evil: Apocalypse might actually be a decent movie. ... Oh, and making a left turn on a red light, too!
