The internet won't get taken over because alot of people like me won't let it happen. If it does then I'm back to running a line from phone wires to my house for internet.

Oh yeah. And you may want to stay off the internet if you're using a 56k modem... it'll make you cry.

This I know... and I would absoulutely refuse to use the net if it was AOL (Gay-OL). I'm forced to use People PC till I go back home.

AOL stinks. I had it years ago, and quit. We got it a couple months ago, and quit -- now I'm supplying the DSL for my household.

I don't know if you heard... but AOL's been keeping it on the down low. Mirosoft sued their ass a few months ago. The AOL dialer and all related software, once uninstalled can/will take registry files from your OS making either your browser to not function to to corrupt your OS all together. Since then, I have not allowed any form of Gay-O-H311 on my compter.

I can't tell you how many computers I've had to fix and stinkin aol is to blame. In some cases, uninstalling aol fixed the compter all together... if none of the registry files went with it.
