Doesn't really care about console, just wants to know if it will be a good RPG Maker, and more customizable than 3, and not as much of a pain to use as 2.

Actually I'm concerned that this announcement is so soon into the next gen. Unless it is for the 360, which I doubt, I wonder how much better than the previous gen it will be because of how little time the developers have had to learn the possibilites of the new gen systems.

... it would amuse me if it was a 360 release. i don't think it's a foregone conclusion that it'll end up on the PS3. though it will now and i'll look very stupid.

I really want to see which console it's on...I hope for Wii, but I bet it's ps3

I own RM1,2 and 3 but have only really used 1. I'm not sure if I'm ready for another but I am hoping 360, guessing PS3, and would be amazed if it was Wii. I would like to see how much freedom in graphics creation that controller causes... Or the PS3's but even more so the Wii's.

Probably the PS3, since all RPG makers have been on that console.

The Japanese only releases were for SNES which, last time I checked, was not a Sony console.

Honestly, I too think that it's slightly too soon to put out a new RM. But in all honesty, I see it being on the PS3. The main reason being because of how much more power it has than the Wii... The 8 proccessor Cell could possible be able to handle a full size RPG without ever having to move location... making the world seamless. Of course, that's just one example.

I doubt it will be on the ps3, not now anyways. They haven't sold enough consoles just yet. However the psp, wii, ds, and 360 maybe a different story. An rm game for the wii would be interesting.

And I doubt that they will make the desision based solely on units sold. If only it were that simple.

I don't think Agetec works with NES.. I could be wrong.
