I talked earlier in <a href="http://www.rpgmmag.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5271"> this thread</a> about my upcoming appearance on the Funday Pawpet Show. Well, the show is just days away, and I will be leaving for it in a matter of hours. I REALLY need the support of my fellow magonians, and want to see you in the IRC channel to make me do a bunch of crazy sh*t! Dray is experienced in this, so he will be able to help you out with what's going on at each particular point of the show.


<b>The Show Runs Live Sunday night starting at 7:00 EST.
So what do you need to enjoy it?</b>


The first thing you will need for the show, is a version of
Quicktime player v7.0 or higher. Just go here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
and click "Free Download Now"

After that installs, to open the live stream (That usually starts about 5:00 EST, though the main show doesn't start until 7EST), just clickFile>OpenURL and paste this link into the popup box: rtsp://streams.pawpet.tv:554/fps-hi

Watching the show, however, is only part of the fun. The real enjoyment comes from being a part of the audience chat. Now, there really isn't much CONVERSATION going on...just a chat that moves a mile a minute. The chat is used for audience interaction and most importantly, giving suggestions for things I do in Subservient! This is the chat that you will type in things for me to do, and I'll do them.

It's very easy to connect, as it is a standard IRC channel. If you already have an IRC client, use that. However, if you need one, I suggest mIRC ( http://mirc.com/get.html )

After you download and install your client, just set your nickname, and connect to server irc.pawpet.org (To change your nick, type
/nick yournicknamegoeshere in the chat window. To connect to the server,
type /server irc.pawpet.org) After that, you are all set. Just type
like you normally would. Most of the commands are the same as they
are in the mag's chatroom.

I will be signed on to the channel shortly before the show starts,
and I will also make a point to drop in on the mag chat. If you are not
able to connect to either the stream or the audience irc, I will
try and help you through it at that time.

As a side note, Trillian has an IRC plugin as well. I say that assuming alot of people use Trillian though... ^_^

BTW. You can also stick these reminder threads in Media because this is big news. As well as creativity being where all going to be having you do creative things. You can almost fit this topic in all of the forums but video games. Unless you plan on making a "paw pet show" for the RPGmaker.

The chat room was going crazy fast. I posted a few things for OW to do but they where just not picking any of the things I wanted.

So then I tried copying and pasting over my requests thinking it will be better seen. But then Dray told me not to be too spammy.

Sigh.. It was 2 and a half hours into the show to see OW.
And the darn thing only lasted what it felt like to be 5 min. after a long wait

And what the heck was up with the dancing bird? Its called the "paw pet show" birds have no paws. *shurgs*

I thought it was boring IMO. But I did like hearing and seeing OW.

I don't think I'm going to be watching many more of them shows though.
