Edit: My bad.. I see the gray on the front page only. I'm glad the rest of the mag is back to normal. It was hard to get use to.

As I said in the chat, it's because you've got the style set to NeoMag (the red style) in your profile. The new style is UtopiaMag, and it's the default style.

It seems as though the list of posts is no longer only those since my last visit, but also a limited number of posts since before my last visit but ones that I did not check when I had the opportunity. Am I right?

I like this because sometimes I can end up getting logged out before I am ready to, thus loseing track of recent posts that I didn't get to check, but if that is how it is intended to be then "posts since last visit" is inaccurate. Just pointing that out.

It's actually a feature we had available to us for a while. We just didn't figure out how to turn it on until now. But yes, now it remembers all unread posts even if you log out. If you are through reading the topics you want and want the remaining topics unread, just click the "Mark all topics read" link above the page count of each forum. (Note that "Mark all forums read" will clear all forums listed on the page. Try not to hit it by accident.)

I noticed that too, but is there any way to clear all unread messages? It's irritating. I want the option to go back to the old style.

Go into Profile Settings >> Preferences >> Reading Topics

then set it to "No", since the default is yes.
