Anyone have any comments about the two previews I submitted? I wanted to get some feedback on the issue.

I worked hard to get both of them on there, so they better be the best articles on there! :XD

Well apparently mine should have been here yesterday, but somehow it wasn't. I hate the postal service, they suck with anything not letter sized. So the Manager of our apartments has filed a complaint with them so hopefully I'll get my magazine eventually. Lazy bastards not delivering stuff to my door, like UPS or FedEx. Since we got a slip in our mailbox saying that the package would be in the office, and of course on the slip it says sorry we missed you (like they ever bother coming to your door in the first place), and of course it's not in the office. So they better find it or I'm going to be pissed.

Mine is in.... yay.

Oh, and I'd have to say, 1ce, that I think the preview of Secret of Everyone was the best by far!

(I'm sorry, I had to do that.)

*feels sheepish*

Thank you for all the feedback! It really makes me feel good about what we created, as I'm sure it makes the entire staff feel.

Oh yeah? Well who cares what the staff thinks? They're all a bunch of stupid morons who couldn't pick their own noses even if... Oh wait. I'm part of the staff.

I got mine yesterday, and read it 2 and a half times in one sitting. I likke the fact that my preview had screenshots of the game, but did you really need to take a screenshot of the dialogue telling the previewer that the game is a demo and is subject to change? This was supposed to be for the previewer to read, not the general community. But you made up for it by including a screenshot of the character talking about Hitler eating watermelon. I NEVER thought there would be a screenshot of that in the mag. Thanks.

It gives people a chance to see something that won't be in the final game, as pointless as that sounds. That's why I wanted to use the "Good Morning World" screenshot of Genji's demo.

Besides, that screenshot also mentions "harvesting eggs".

Nope, I've got all 32 pages.

You know, I was wondering why you haven't commented on your game's preview. That is on page 18.

I love how the finished product came out! :D
As many have said, props to everyone at the mag that put alot of hard work into the issue, it shows. The writing was great and the layout was nicely done and very true to the actual mag site which is a nice touch.
It was a joy to read and also it really is amazing that the community has come this far. I think it's a solid collector's item for rpg maker fans.
Well done!!!! I look forward to the next one.

Just got the issue today. Great work staff! The game of the issue article actually made Door: The Game seem like it might be fun.

And Ix, I'm not a cloud. I ride in a cloud. Well, at least you did some research. :lol

Awesome that it made it there. I forgot that it's called "Jugem's Cloud" and that the cloud's name is not Jugem. I've gotten it mixed up since I was a kid. :p

Finally got mine today.

Better late than never I guess. I still hate the post office though, especially since the guy at the Post Office wouldn't even bother to go look for it when I asked him about. Jerk. (postmarked Sep 18 btw).

I find it odd how they did the binding. I was expecting the typical magazine two to three staples down the side.

Also not sure if it was the original pictures, but there is some aliasing going on on some of them.

Well I'll read through it tonight.

And yeah I'm pretty picky :P. It looks pretty professionally done though, so good job Ix, and anyone else who helped with it if they did.

I'm very glad they got it to you after that big hassle.

And about the binding, I chose that for two reasons:

1. It would give the issue a little more style.
2. the staples would have made the issues cost $5 more a piece. :p

But those are the original pictures. However, the main thing to consider is that they look good, but I had to convert every picture in the issue to 300ppi (dpi) and I was upconverting pictures from 72ppi (monitor images) to 300ppi (magazine-quality).

It was very educational.

Ah yes, I know what you mean by that. A lot of magazines that post large screenshots have the same problem, so I'm used to seeing screens that look kinda pixelly.
