Thank you, thank you, thank you for coming to this site. It's because of the people out there that I, along with my staff, do this thing. I can say, with my head held high, that I love what I do here and what this site has become.

I've said this before, but this site wasn't supposed to suceed. At least that's what I was told at first. Here's a timeline of what happened:

January 29, 2002: Mag was created on an ezBoard.
January 31, 2002: Mag was opened to the public.
January 2002 - 2003: "The Mag's gonna die in leik 5 months, anyway."
January 2003 - 2004: "Well, the Mag's still here, but it sucks. So ha."
January 2004 - August 2005: "Huh, the Mag's getting better."
August 2005 - Present: "Oh SNAP. GO MAG GO!"

Okay, well maybe it's a bit distorted, but you get the idea. It was extremely rough in the beginning, being the new guy on the block with a few ideas and a dream. But every time someone told me the Mag was gonna die, it made me fight even harder to prove them wrong about it.

Guess what, guys? The Mag's still here.

It wasn't all hardships, though. Through making this site, I have made many friends that I wouldn't have, otherwise, because of cultural or racial differences. People like Altoecko (the very first Mag staff member), Cessi, Fayorei (Goten), Rob, Lone, Chrssy, Valkysas (damn, we've gone through some stuff, but we're cool now), Dreamknight, Vonwert, HyperSonicSpeed (Kratos Aurion), Taizon, Dave, Lantis, NWalterstorf, and countless others.

I thank all those people and everyone who has helped me or visited this site in any way. And if you've hated on the site? I thank you, too. You helped me even when you tried to tear me down, though it didn't feel like it at the time.

And thank you, if you're reading this much text.

Here's to RPG Maker Magazine's first 100,000 hits, and to hundreds of thousands more.
